It really isn't very nice looking where I swam. The water was usually murky lol but I still liked it... but not for the beauty of it. Sometimes we'd have tiny fishes swim with us, so that was fun.

Some parts of the ocean are much cleaner and nicer looking from what I have seen, but I have never experienced anything like that.

We used to find a lot. That was a long time ago now, though, so maybe it's not as easy to find them anymore? I'm sure it also depends on the location. I was a bit more south than you are in Florida, so maybe you need to try more secluded beach areas to see what you find!

Definitely not there lol more near Fort Lauderdale and such. I bet Key West has nice spots.
