We went soaking in a mineral tub (had water from a hot spring) yesterday before coming back home... it was soothing. The day before that, we got a foot massage after a hike lol

I was outside this morning (1 A.M), in the rain, picking up empty bottles that were just left at my doorstep last night.
I don't like litterers but someone needs to do it and make the area presentible plus: it's trick or treat tonight, I wouldn't want the poor kiddies to step on glass

You remind me of our previous next door neighbours. A while before they moved they went on holiday and left their teenage children at home. They had not been particularly noisy with their party but do remember popping round the next morning to let them know that they may want to pick up the broken beer bottle on their drive before their parents came home
Picking litter up is good for the soul. I do a litter collection in our woods every couple of months. I don't mind doing it, and I feel good inside after I have finished.

Sadly the furthest I get to is around the garden and drive. Our property is a bit of a catch all for litter though as the prevailing wind blows straight down the street and down our drive to deposit litter and leaves by the back door after swirling round. I often watch the empty food boxes blowing down the street and don't worry about going out to pick them up as they will soon be within easy reach

I went to look at a house years ago that backed onto a train station. The back garden was littered with train tickets.

Was that to the good as far as you were concerned? It would be instantly be offputting. They were slow if they did not clear the tickets before showing the property for sale

It was nothing in comparison to the rest of the house lol
The house was the owners pride and joy. He was a diy man, and he had fixed the house up. I have never seen so many louvres in my life. The house was full of them. They were everywhere, internal doors, kitche doors, kitchen cupboard doors, bedroom wardrobe doors, toilet cupboard doors, e v e r y w h e r e!

People are strange, aren't they? You walk into someone's house and am greeted with that sight. Unbelievable.
I'm going to need a heating pad and also some muscle cream to help my sore muscles from all the extra work preparing for this storm. And I'm only half way there. Everything has to be moved back after it is over.
