I am going to share some recipes on this thread. Tonight, I am making jalapeno stuffed chicken. Yum!
I use: - 2 chicken breasts -panko bread crumbs -2 oz of cream cheese -1/4 cup shredded cheese -eggs (1 or 2) -1-2 jalapenos (and you mince them and remove the seeds) -Taco seasoning
Preheat the oven to 375, fry up your panko crumbs (but watch them... they burn easily!) The recipe tells me after I fry the crumbs to mix in taco seasoning, but I didn't and they still were yummy. You could also use other bread crumbs too. But I like panko cuz I like frying bread crumbs.
Then you mix up the cream cheese, shredded cheese and jalapenos, you can either stuff the chicken or just tenderize it and wrap it around the filling like I do becaus stuffing chicken is hard.
The you bread the chicken by dipping it in egg first because the egg holds the crumbs on.
Then you bake it for 30 minutes or so. I baked it longer though because I have never cooked a whole chicken breast for 30 minutes and had it cooked through, but it all depends on the size.
It's so good and easy to make! I'm going to try this with broccoli and cheese as well tonight because my fiance doesn't like jalapeno popper chicken. Why I do not know.
That sounds good! I suck at stuffing chicken, too. What is the secret? lol
whenever i make Philadelphia chicken which is just chicken stuffed with Philadelphia & wrapped in bacon, either me or OH do it 2 ways; small breasts; put the cream cheese on top of one breast, put the other breast on top and wrap in bacon and sprinkle on choice of cheese large breasts; Make a slice, not all the way through and put the cream cheese inside the cut, wrap with bacon and sprinkle on choice of cheese
Cherry, dont read this too early haha

When life hands you lemons, make grape juice then sit back and watch as the world wonders how you did it.
Cleaning and scrubbing can wait ‘til tomorrow For babies grow up we've learnt to our sorrow, So quiet down cobwebs Dust go to sleep I’m rocking my baby and babies don’t keep
I stuffed the chicken one time but that was because I had the GIANT BREASTS which are the size of two normal ones that I got at the farmer's market and I just sliced a hole in the side.
What I do with normal chicken breasts is I use a meat tenderizer (you can buy them from Wal Mart or whatever, the kind of look like a hammer) and hammer on the chicken so it becomes more flat then you put the stuff in the middle and wrap it up. Don't over stuff it. If you think it is going to come unwrapped, just put a couple of toothpicks in it and you should be good!
Cook up some hamburger and season it with taco seasoning (I use Old El Paso and I just follow the instructions) Cook up some rice Layer it in a casserole dish, I go chips, rice, meat, cheese and I do this twice Bake it at 350 for 20 minutes. There you go!
You can add salsa too, but I don't because I don't like it.

I make a taco pie, but I use tortillas and make it more like a lasagna. I don't add any rice, though.
I'll make a layer with meat, put some mashed black beans on one side of the tortilla, guacamole on another, and then I'll alternate and put sour cream on some tortilla sides... and I just sprinkle cheese, salsa, and add meat in various layers. I tend to use chicken when I make this taco pie, but when I made hard shelled tacos then I always use beef.
I love pretty much anything taco related or inspired lol one of my favorite foods!!
I'll have to wait until I get some fresh chicken again; the rest of my chicken is in the freezer, so I won't be stuffing it or tenderizing it. I get a lot of huge chicken breasts, so I'll try it on one of the larger ones :-)

I don't eat red meat, but I love chicken breasts and liked your thoughts concerning my breasts . Me gusta comida de Mexico tambien, so the taco tips were cool. How was my Spanish?

I freeze all my chicken. You can tenderize it still after you thaw it out.
Chicken that is frozen never comes out as well as fresh chicken to me. It's just a preference. When it comes to stuffing chicken or breading it, I like the chicken to never have been frozen.
Im going to ruin alll the diets now... You know that left over advocaat you have from Christmas? well have you ever thought of making a cake with it?
ok here goes..you need 250ml of sunflower oil, 250grms of sugar 5 eggs, 250grms flour 15grms (3tsp) baking powder and 200 mls of advocaat.
Mix the oil sugar and eggs to a creamy mass, then set the mixer to a slow speed and pour the advocaat in slowly mixing all the time. having sieved the flour and baking powder into a sperate bowl add this slowly to the egg advocaat mix and mix until its a creamy yellow mass. It should look like thickish custard by this stage...
Pour the mix into a greased 22cm cake tin and put it in the bottom of a med oven 160c for hotair or 180c for normal electric over for 50 mins-1hr cool for 10 mins..Enjoy

Ah I see!
I am that way with steak, but the fiance doesn't care. Everytime we have a thawed steak I think to myself how much more tastier it would be if it was never frozen.

By now most of you realise (did you like my UK spelling, Cher?) that I'm a bit of an odd duck, so this shouldn't surprise you. If I have a couple of recent left-overs in the fridge I sometimes mix them together for a meal. Sometimes I've found that even though they wouldn't seem to go together on the surface, often times they do. I inherited this from my Dad who would call his concoctions "skumgullian". Sounds weird, but who would have thought that peanut butter and banana sandwiches would be tasty. Does anyone else do this?
I've had peanut butter and banana sandwiches, but I'm not big on eating bananas. I prefer them in shakes with chocolate lol
I don't mix different leftovers together. I usually just make one meal and eat it for 2-3 nights, then I make a different meal once the leftovers run out, so I suppose the opportunity doesn't arise!
Banana sandwiches, that takes me back. I blew my 2nd year student grant on a bad business deal. As a result I really had to scrape to keep going, and I was getting thinner and thinner. One of my college friends' mother heard my story and started sending me banana sandwiches every day.
I wouldn't go so far as to say she saved my life, but she was probably the difference to me, passing and failing my exams.
