You can freeze most meats, including steak.

What you can't do is toss them in the freezer

with the store packaging on.

My mom has one of those things that wraps and sucks all the air out.

I mean it's like a vacuum in there.

I just take off the store packaging and with a zip lock

I try to get as much air out as possible.

Not freezing is best as Heather said, but sometimes choices are limited.

I don't buy it too often. I freeze ground beef, though! That comes in handy.

Ok, confession time.

There are few better meals than ground beef with a little added carrots, onion, and peas, together with mash potatoes, and all mixed together. We call it mince'n'tatties.

I am well aware that it cannot be done in polite company, but it is a meal I love.

Oh, and there is shepherd's pie!! I had one recently with beef, corn, and mashed potatoes. YUM!

I always liked to stir up my mashed potatoes with beef stew, carrots, and peas lol my mom would have it separated on the plate, and I would just make a big, messy slop of yummyness. It's awesome!!
