What about our environment?

Personally I believe the Earth has been slowly warming since the end of the last Ice Age, about 10,000 years ago. What I don’t believe is that this warming is a catastrophe or is caused by carbon dioxide (CO2).

Some scientists and lay people have predicted a number of global disasters due to CO2. Have any of these predictions been correct? Predictions have ranged from famine, ice ages, ozone depletion, overpopulation, population annihilation, flooding, arctic ice melts and oil depletion. Have any predictions been correct? To my knowledge the score is zero correct.

After about 50-years of such experience, fewer people issue 10-year predictions anymore. Much better to predict hundreds of years into the future, who lives that long?.

I did actually think about the Romulan's Warbird, from Startrek, engine when I was thinking. Maybe science fiction but unlike a current nuclear reactor a fusion reactor appears to be getting far closer to the concept.

Our planet is self healing and works to protect itself.

The planet is not self healing, the planet is under no risk whatsoever. The only thing at risk is the species currently living on the planet.

The planet is not healing. The earth is running out of natural resources we need to survive. According to articles I've read we will be out of food in 27 years and out of water by 2035. Also I saw another article about the extreme heat waves that are coming in our future. We are headed for trouble on a run away roller coaster and nobody cares. God forbid the roses don't get watered and they die even though people may die later cuz some lady just HAD to water her flowers! Sorry I'm a little ranty today.

I'd say their carbon footprint is more like a dinosaur lol

There are times I wish I knew how Paradise Garden Grill has managed to make plant-based beef taste like legitimate beef.

If I knew how to make this from home there could be a chance that I go vegetarian since that would mean all five flavors can be represented culinary within actual meat.

Then again, 'meat' was a word that was used to refer to food in general, so I suppose technically, I would still be a meat-eater.

That could be interesting. Depending on the trainer of course.

There are always lines to be drawn, and maybe the discussion will move your line?

As an example would you invest in a company making gang chains for use in the third world?
