Terms of Service from Proboards: www.proboards.com/tos
If you break the rules, then you will either be warned, restricted, or banned. If you are warned and you continue the same behavior, then you will either be restricted or banned entirely. Actions against members are taken as we see fit on a case-by-case basis, as it can depend on the severity of the offense.
Warnings mean you are told you have broken a rule, but we may not take any further actions other than to kindly ask you not to continue such actions or behaviors. We might give multiple warnings.
Restrictions mean you likely continued the same offense or are a repeat rule-breaker, so certain boards that are problem areas will be restricted to you, such as news or politics (No More News and/or No More Politics group), or even all member boards aside from this and the guest section (Limited Access group). You will be able to view the content in most boards, but you would be unable to post or create threads in the areas you are restricted from. Consider this a time-out where we ask you to re-evaluate your forum behavior! To see which restrictions you have, go to your Profile and click on Groups.
Length of restrictions may start at one week and extend further for continued offenses with a max of one month of restriction at a time. If you continue the same behavior and already have reached one month restrictions, then each similar offense will be one month of restriction every time afterward. If these offenses continue frequently, then you may be permanently restricted from the boards in question.
Please note, male guest members will remain in the Limited Access group, and can freely post in the First Steps in the Community, including Be Our Guest, plus any sub-boards contained within. Select the appropriate gender icon when signing up or introduce yourself to let us know who you are. There is no need to pretend to be a woman to interact with us, as everyone is welcome in this section. The Discussions and Members Only boards are for women (including trans women) to have some girl time online, so please remain in the designated area for guests. It is also best practice not to thumbs up any posts in sections you cannot post in If you intentionally attempt to bypass the rules, then you will be banned.
Bans mean you cannot access the forum at all. We have done away with temporary bans in lieu of restrictions, so now bans will be the permanent type if used. Examples of immediate banning includes: spamming, trolling, inappropriate content, and multiple accounts. If you create a second account, then it will be banned unless you request to use it instead of your first account.
The administrator and moderators have the right to edit, delete, move, or close any thread or post as they see necessary.
