What are you reading?

I loved the film K-Pax.

I'm nearly finished reading "In a Sunburned Country" - great read. But, this is for you Cher: Have you heard of John McDouall Stuart? Scotland and Australia are intertwined to some degree because of this explorer.

The author of the book admires him. Of course, I'm a blancmange - so what do I know!

I have just started "Black Rubber Dress" Chapter 4 and I am still undecided, but I virtually always finish any book I start.

Has anyone heard of Ian Rankin?

Mmmmm. . . that could be the one! Today I began reading my Muhammad Ali book.  Cher, which Rankin book should I read first?

You never disappoint me, Cher!

You know, I worked with all sorts of professional staff, but that driver was my best ever employee. He always wanted to say "yes" when you asked him to do something, and all the patients loved him. In all the years he worked for us, I never got a single complaint about him.

When he retired he said I had been the best boss he had ever had. I was really chuffed about that.

I have heard good things about Alchemist, but I have not read it.

Most don't understand what he's saying, but I was nerdy and had fun analyzing stories/poems; maybe that is why I liked him.

Now reading "One Hundred Years of Solitude" by Gabriel García Márquez, read lots of good reviews to it. I almost read a half of it, but still not sure if I like it or not... Ok, I still have another half of this book, so plenty of time to fell in love with it) Will tell you later if this had happened or not...

To paraphrase the guy with the thorny hat:

hmmmmm it lost a little there.

I used to be like that, then I got a book called "Blowing a storm!" It was so awful, that I started speed reading to get it done.

Than suddenly thought?
