Is everyone ignoring the fact they found a PYRAMID on MARS?

I'm serious.  

I heard about it at work, some people were discussing it on the poker table and I googled it.  Sure enough... they found a pyramid on Mars.

To summarize the article, the pyramid is about the size of a small car.  Some people are skeptical and they think it is just a bizarre rock formation.  I saw the picture.  It looks like the tip of a pyramid.  The picture is poor quality so it's hard to tell, but wouldn't it be neat if it IS actually the tip of the pyramid?  This would change so much.

These reasons are probably why it isn't front page news, even though it should be.  I bet if they uncovered more and saw that it was a real pyramid just like in Egypt, it would probably just be one of those afterthoughts "Oh BTW we originated on MARS."

I really wouldn't be surprised.  It's very possible we were colonized a long time ago.  Or maybe we were criminals, shunned to this planet, which is why no one has contacted us.  Who knows.
