Well.. and I hardly dare mention this. Ive been buying Christmas gifts Today I ordered 5 little puzzels the type with a square you mix up then put the photo back together. Its a photo of a windmill that I took. I was looking for envelope gifts for penpals and this seemed a nice little personalised trinket.

I have yet another idea for homemade Christmas gifts. Will see if that turns into boxes of chocolates instead - I tend to realise I won't have time or energy for making things, but they're always great ideas!
I bought items for an upcoming trip out of town. Trying to wait on Amazon orders until we get back, so I don't have a bunch of mail sitting around.
One thing I did pick out to order later: an electric frypan/skillet. Mine's an old one and it just threw sparks at the plug end, so I'm declaring it done! My mum used to have the same model a couple decades ago (or more) so I say ours had a good life!

I just bought a few small pieces of "silly art" - originally Star Trek series art, but now with Jeffrey Combs' face for every character. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeffrey_Combs)

I'm wearing Care Bears socks! I found these today along with Hello Kitty socks, plus a Rainbow Brite (40th anniversary!) toy. Woo hoo! I would have loved a Hello Kitty mug or teacup, but socks seem easier to pack home safely. I'll likely check online for the other items...
I also bought a notebook, tote bag, bookmark, and board game at the bookstore - plus more books than I needed, of course!
I bought the weekly grocery shop yesterday. I don't know why but it wasn't much more expensive than my usual Wednesday top up and far less than I usually pay on Sundays. Maybe I'll have to restrict my shopping to Wednesdays only
I also did the mid week grocery top up and paid the monthly community charge. That along with the electricity bill which will be paid this week, phone charges and the car service plan means it will be an expensive week
I bought some sausages from town yesterday, as well as odds and ends for my hobbies. I did look a bit in clothes shops but there was nothing I fancied. My main reason for going though was to get to a couple of banks to organise accounts. Some things go better in person as it is easier to see the options.

I bought a few kids' books recently from National Geographic, but so far the youngest isn't that interested in the first one. I thought he'd be the prime target! I may need to get it out and read it for myself, hoping to lure him in.
I've got a few Star Trek novels pre-ordered, and Star Trek: Prodigy Season 2 as well. (It never aired or streamed in Canada to this point. Weird to have the Canadian audience excluded!)
Up soon: Choosing something for the oldest teen's birthday (near the end of October). I often order online at this time of year, giving plenty of shipping time. Probably something Tolkien related? Or maybe one or two older non-fiction titles about Star Trek? He likes the technical manuals and such... Oh, there's also more Shakespeare's Star Wars to collect!

Ordered the oldest teen's birthday gifts just now. I noticed yesterday that Ian Doescher has done other Shakespeare-style books, so it'll be Get Thee Back to the Future, Christmas Carol, and Avengers. I think he'll like the variety. I still want to get more of the Star Wars books for him, but they didn't pop up with good pricing, so I'll leave that for now.
I think I need to buy some new shoes. I found that my favourites had started falling apart at the weekend. More material disintegrating than actual wear

Me personally, I would be out there right away buying them. I use any excuse and this is a good one.
My hubby left it to me to pick a house I like at each of the location we are thinking about moving to but I have not seen anything I like in East Coast ( realtors have been sending me houses everyday), I wish I could find something like what I saw in Lake Las Vegas in Raleigh and Arlingon.

I start buying stuff immediately after handing birthday or xmas stuff.
