one bolt one lock 2 kilo of nails and 15 tubes of high tack kit.
What's the project?
Oh there are various things on the go, a new lock for the garden gate, the kitchen is still the major thing, and of course the new water barrier at the end of the garden..
Back in Novmeber I bought a new camera bag, earlier this month it suddenly fell from my shoulder. One of the clips on the strap had broken so I emailed the company with a photo of the broken clip and they replied and said they would re-order 'ít' for me, so I was expecting a new shoulder strap ( you cant just put a new clip on).. Two weeks have gone by without any strap arriving or any contact from them so I emailed them again pointing out I was lucky not to have a broken camera but I do still have a broekn bag so would they please get on with ordering the new part. I got an email by return asking again for my adress and saying that they will be sending out a whole new bag..
In the meantime I had found a strap to fit from an old camera bag so when they do send the new one that will go into storage. Somehow I dont think this bag is built to last !

I recently bought an air rocket toy that has been used for occupational therapy for the youngest - the plan is get our own OT toys to use between appointments. All three kids love the rockets! They've also been enjoying the "building straws" set and they even combined the two toys to have foam rockets flying through a building they made, and then a project of demolishing the building with just the rockets aimed at it! (Took 20-30 minutes, lots of strategy involved.)
I also bought a biography of CS Lewis that focuses on his imagination and his creation of Narnia. Very cool!
The youngest was just talking about 3D puzzles, so I might choose a Ravensburger 3D puzzle soon. I prefer the foam-backed pieces that Wrebbit 3D makes to Ravensburger's plastic pieces, but there haven't been any new designs lately from Wrebbit... Poor me!

The office Keurig has been acting up lately, so I ordered one from Amazon today. I have to wait another day to have coffee at the office. <sigh>
After doing research on prices and availability, I decided to pick one up at the nearby Walmart Superstore this afternoon...despite my disenchantment with Walmart. The website said they had it in stock in Aisle I23. I went straight there, and there was every other Keurig under the sun except the one I wanted. There wasn't even a spot on the shelf for it! GRRRRRR
Supposedly, Target had it, but for $20 more, so off to Target I went. On the way, I remembered that Best Buy supposedly had one, so I stopped by there first...same story.
When I got to Target, there was one on the shelf, but "DISPLAY," was written where the price should have been. There weren't any in boxes, either. GRRRRR!
It's no wonder Amazon is taking over! I got it for the same price, and they sell it in three different colors! Slate gray would have been okay, but the brushed gold looks nice. It should be here tomorrow.
These brick and mortar stores better wake up. If they keep lying about their inventory, they will fold. Who likes being lied to, much less driving all over town for nothing?!

I had that issue at at one of the well known DIY stores (B&Q) here. The employee I spoke to there hadn't a clue either and suggested some other inferior product. Mostly though it does work
Perhaps more of a concern is an equivalent store we have here - The Range. In the store they often have shelves half bare of some products; at least the ones I am interested in. I have ordered things online from them too and found that they have got back to me with items on my order which they stated as in stock online but in actual fact were out of stock and they couldn't supply.
It seems that sensible stores actually have a countdown of stock as people order. It's sometimes irritating that you may be battling for the last one with someone online elsewhere but at least you find out before you are asked for payment.

That bugs me no end: they have everything except what you want. It drives me mental.

My son had a gun that fired foam missiles. He loved it, and being assassinated while in the house at the same time wasn't painful at ll.

I had a 5% discount coupon for the supermarket so I made sure I bought all the things on my list.. Pennies maybe but better pennies in my pocket than in theirs !
