I started making a list of equipment/game supplies to buy for helping the youngest - there will be extra government money coming since he has a physical disability. (You have to fill out a long form and get the doc to give lots of information too, and then I added the really long "psych ed report" to the end for even more info! After quite some time waiting, it's finally agreed that it is a disability in terms of the tax situation. )
A really helpful website is TheOTToolbox since it gives terminology and a lot of products an occupational therapist could use. Should be fun! I may order a couple at a time so that we have time to determine where to put it all... And it looks like the youngest could progress a bit faster for the OT appointments if I join in, like I did today. (Look, Mum's playing! Let's have fun!) I might look odd hopping around like a kangaroo and such, but it's for a good cause (and I might build some more muscle too, hee hee).

You are going to look back on these years of motherhood with some pride.
You have to be careful with those walk in fridges in case you get trapped inside
Well not quite that big. To be honest I might have that capacity. We have our main fridge in the kitchen of course, another almost exactly the same in the garage and a stand alone freezer in the laundry room.
We have a couple too but one is only a small kitchen fridge, the other a taller two part. I cannot even imagine living how we did when I was little, without a fridge at all. I could but it would mean big changes. Perhaps all the dried foodstuffs which have been around for years would finally get used
I was in Germany yesterday and did my big shop I wont be going back until Feb/ March time. The car was groaning but we made some good purchases and saved a ton of money even down to the petrol which was 14ct a litre cheaper.

I hope you had a good time!
It was stressful. There were a lot of idiots on the road. Then the main supermarket had a power outage in the chilled area and so there was no chilled foods available we had to go elsewhere and hope to get most of our list . We did manage but we were 2 hours later than normal getting home.

I'm glad it is now all over, as I bet you are now. It seems almost always the case of everything going haywire on the run up to Christmas. What I like is the quiet time between Christmas and New Year. It's often the best time to shop. Even when I worked it I found it a very peaceful time.

I do enjoy the sales.....
I like the twin speed option. Frantic sales, followed by relaxed xmas atmosphere.
Wayyyyyyyyyyyy too much stuff because of Christmas. My husband always tells me I have the tendency to overdo things at Christmas, and he might be right - but it never stops me lol.

I bought ourselves the Taste of the Month Club from The French Kitchen. I always enjoyed trying something new and different every month. I just don't get there as often as I would like. In 2024, the Taste of the Month will be delivered to my doorstep! It will actually be cheaper then going there monthly.
I honestly dislike bra shopping. I had a reduction about 5 years ago and it is SLIGHTLY more enjoyable now, but I think I still harbor horrible feelings towards bra shopping from prior lol
I had to look that up. It appears that they are all part of the TJX family of companies, to include Marshalls, Home Goods and Sierra as well. We have all of those here in The Springs.

I gpt my weekly shop as usual today. A little bit more as it is Christmas and I will likely not go shopping next Sunday.
Are you finished your pre xmas shop?
Mostly. I have art group on Wednesday so will be going to Asda on the way and I will pick up a few last minutes from there. I will of course call in at the butcher late in the week to pick up the Christmas order.
