Hi all!
I somehow stumbled across this forum by accident, but I am glad I did. I am looking for a place to make some like minded friends and share things that happen in my life, or just to vent! It's hard to find friendship connections when life, work, kids and everything else always gets in the way or makes it hard to make friends that fit in with my family lol.

I am 36. I live in TN, USA. I am married to an amazing retired Army Medic. We have an amazing son who is very high functioning autistic. I am a cancer survivor and I have some trauma from my eldest child I am working though. I will probably share this with you all at some point.

I love to game, cross-stitch, read and do diamond paintings!

I am a nurse and absolutely love my job, even though it can be overwhelming at times.

I am not sure what all else to say except I am looking forward to getting to know everyone! <3

I play World of Warcraft. I also play just about every Nintendo game out there! I am obsessed with Hogwarts Legacy and Dreamlight Valley right now! I am a major Zelda lover so I have all of those games.!

It is! Colorado Springs boasts three Space Force Bases, the Air Force Academy and Fort Carson. There are three Commissaries and two large MTFs, from what I understand (I don't use them). Good jobs abound, but housing is crazy expensive here.

I'm a former Army brat, and my father retired here after 26 years. Hubby retired early from the Air Force.

This is REALLY good information! My husband is 100% disabled through the VA and a medical retiree from the Army. So those things are useful to us! I figured with me being a nurse, finding work is never hard lol. They tend to always need us. & housing is crazy anywhere. We will be using the VA loan though when we move so I am not too concerned with being bombarded my anxiety with the market lol

Dad used to have to drive up to Denver. DAV Chapter 26 is here as well. We have a national cemetery which opened about 5 years ago as well.

I work in a hospital as a housekeeper. I too game. Will be starting Hogwarts Legacy tomorrow. I have a Switch Lite. I like the Assassins Creed games too. Most of what I play are cozy games. I like to read and crochet although I haven't done much of that lately.
