ok, some of the games i had have been crashing so i now have stardew valley, town city & i'm trying my luck with fallout shelter. definitely different. i kinda like it but at the same time it's a tad boring right now. maybe later when there's more people. lol! my vault number is 777. lol! i did buy some vault boxes for a small amount just to help things along a tad. some of the games in google play are now part of the google game pass. if they decide to start charging us to game i'm done.

Yeah, I didn't think it looked like something I'd want to play, so I never tried it. I did play fallout new vegas.. or most of it. I never finished because at the time I was too indecisive on what to do next nearing the end, and then I don't think I kept my saves when I got a new computer LOL that was a long time ago now.

Trying out Palia on Epic (PC). I like it so far... I've been needing a relaxing game like this. I played it for a few hours, and the time went by so quickly lol

planning to play some gta 3 tonight. i'm in the middle of getting some stuff done on stardew valley. i gotta get to level 40 to get iron or to make iron bars to make a steel pickaxe. i'm at level 13. lol!

next time i get a chromebook...depending on my age and my eyesight, i'm gonna see about getting a gaming one. maybe i can play more than just two games on it. although i noticed google play now has games through netflix which force you to get a netflix acct to play them. they start that shit i'm either goin back to the switch or i will stop gaming.

Keep your save files stored somewhere else inbetween uninstalling and then paste it into the new folders for the fresh install.

heatherly, figuring out the mechanics of palia is definitely gonna be a learning experience. so far i like the game.

Nobody seems to do straightforward anything these days

We got into video gaming in 2017, just after the release of a game called Horizon Zero Dawn for the Sony PS4.

It is a massive open-world game where a young girl called Aloy (pronounced A-Loy) is trained by her father in combat and use of weapons - mainly a bow and arrow. As she develops into adulthood, improving her learned skills, she is told to go out into the world on her own.

She encounters many mechanical animals in various sizes and strengths, which she must defeat to progress further into the game. Her amassed skills in defeating them allows her to upgrade her weapons and clothing/armour at shops scattered about the different regions.

She also encounters bandit camps which Aloy needs to approach with stealth and pick off the bandits. Some of the camps have people trapped who need rescuing, whilst others have treasures to collect.

I won’t go into the full scenario of the game as it has so much to offer, and doing or not doing certain tasks can give different results in the game, and affect the final outcome.

To complete the whole game took us months, about 3 to 4 months actually.

The game developers, Guerrilla Games, brought out an add-on sequel called Horizon Forbidden West in 2022. More regions and more ferocious metal creatures were added, which is set in a frozen world.

This is the sort of video game that interests us the most. Neither of us are into any sports games, so we wouldn’t even touch them.

We have played the game about three times so far and we are looking to go though it all again fairly soon (time allowing of course.)
