I had never heard or seen this guy before one of my favorite artists played that song and sang along. I enjoyed the melody and liked the lyrics, so I checked the original. He threw me off as well, but the music still won me over.

I got curious as to the background of the divorce, ie who dumped who, and looking at this article, with some reading between the lines. It seems like a sad story of a woman with poor mental health.
