As a teen, they were my band, I saw them twice in Glasgow.

Loved it, and the sax! I don't think that she has performed in The Colonies though . . .

Going back even further to Howlin' Wolf and Smokestack Lightning.

This was one of those songs that really woke me, sat me up, and made me pay attention.

You ought to be on their payroll. You often 'sell' them.

You will have to excuse me, I seem to be going through a bit of a blues revival.



They used to be my favourite band. 

There are lots of Fleetwood Mac variations. Only two really made it.

The first band was formed by Peter Green, they did blues. Then the three guitarists left and after a few more changes Buckingham, Nicks and Perfect arrived, and that became the one that took off in America.

Peter Green's biggest hit was Albatross. It was number one twice, and that was years apart. A few years ago, it was voted the music that women enjoy most to make love to.

If you look at that pic above, you will spot Mick Fleetwood and John McVie. Peter invited them into his band and chose their surnames as the band name. He was averse to the limelight, and hoped that would solve his problem. It didn't, and he left, when fame and fortune arrived.

He ended up in an asylum, and still suffers with serious mental health problems.

Fascinating story.
