I gaggled it and the very first punk-rock band was Los Saicos from Lima, Peru. Don't ask me what saico means though!
Initially the name of their band was “Los Sadicos,” however, perhaps to avoid being banned for suggesting sadism, they dropped the letter “d” from the name, resulting in “Los Saicos.”[8] They liked the way the new name suggested not only the popular battery-powered Seiko watch, but also the title of the famous Alfred Hitchcock thriller, Psycho.[9]
LOL I can't say as I enjoyed it, but you can certainly see that it IS early punk.

Just YT'd "Angel From Montgomery" - Brandi Carlile and John Prine. I loved it, but because Brandi is married to another woman, I had to refer to my Trump Bible. Chapter 7 Verse 8: No matter how talented you may be, if you are a lesbian it doesn't count.

Sinead started that shaved-hair look years ago I reckon, Shell. And Cher, that was a moving version. Seeing young kids with cancer is awful. That's why I donate to the Foundation.

I love The Pogues, but would consider them to be more spunk than punk. The Australian National Anthem is "Advance Australia Fair" (written by a Scot), but the people Down Under consider "Waltzing Matilda" to be the real anthem. You knew that I would speak up for my Aussie mates, Cher!

I didn't know that they hadn't written the song, but best Blues Band ever? I like FM, but there are a bunch of Blues Bands out there, including El Tri, de Mexico. Speaking of harmonicas . . . when Kacey sang "My House" at The Ritz in Manchester she tossed harmonicas out to the crowd because she knew that the Mankies loved her doing the harmonica.

I love reggae music and listened to a couple hours of it last evening. So, I'm dedicating this to my friend and co-founder of The Pot Party, Heather: "Legalize It" - Bob Marley!

It's cool that people have different tastes in music. I love Metallica and Bob Marley! I like the classic rock bands, folk, and country (thank you, Kacey Musgraves). I'm into some punk as well, but I get bored with Jazz. The Blues are cool though. As Sly and The Family Stone said "different strokes for different folks".

Cher, that's kinda like me with Jazz. I can listen to a few jams, but then become bored. For some unknown reason, I can listen to Reggae for hours. The steel drums are always there and the beat is usually the same, but I love the lyrics and the vocals. OK, I'm weird - but you already knew that!
