I must admit I hadn't noticed that. lol

But it's touch and go, considering the road runs parallel to the gorge, and that's the border of Yorkshire.

There are lots of beautiful places. I would avoid York because it is expensive, swimming in the sea because it is cold and dirty and Hull, because it is a dreary bottleneck. There are nice coastal towns though and the moors are lovely.

It wouldn't take long to drive to Yorkshire in the car. I live in the Midlands, so would get there in two to three hours. OR could travel on train and get there in an hour or less.

I shall consider my options.

LOL ...reminds me of that Frasier episode where he changes his mind after turning into a parking garage and makes an immediate u-turn, only to be met with a $2 parking fee. He then blocks the exit for 20 minutes to get his "$2 worth," holding the garage attendant and everyone behind him hostage.

I do wonder sometimes about these parks with cameras. Do they still get you if you chage your mind straight after you enter and leave without even getting out of the car, let alone buy a ticket?

Most of them tend to be that you collect the ticket on entry to raise the barrier.
