I was gifted a bag of clothes from a neighbour and there were two shirts that made me laugh. Totally 60's or 70's and not great colour combos. I used them in place of tissue paper in a gift bag for my mum, so we could laugh about them. They may be back again as "wrapping fabric" between me and Mum!
In the same bag were running shoes that fit Mum plus a vest she liked. Not bad for unsolicited clothing!
Those vintage clothes are much sought after here in the uk.
I prefer natural fibres too although many synthetics are Ok. I just remember and cringe at the thought of those horrible nylon bedsheets that were all the rage some years ago
True but I imagine it depends a lot on what the clothing is. Quality clothing is mostly always desirable but I cannot imagine early Primark goods being worth thousands

Primark clothes are funny. Mostly they are an almost nice design, but somehow, they just miss the mark. The buttons are wrong, the neckline should be different, or the colour is just out. I rarely buy from there, but every so often, their clothes are just perfect classics, and I keep them for years.

I mostly don't like the cheap materials they tend to use. Things don't hold their shape well.
Thinking about my Primark clothes. They are all denim, either dresses or jeggings. The denim does seem to be a decent quality, and stretchy, which I like.
I tend to go for the classic, simple, untrendy kind of clothes. Most of my clothes, I have them for years, 10-20 years, quality is most important to me.

I prefer quality too. It sometimes takes me a while to come to appreciate some clothes I buy. Then I cannot bear to be parted
I always try on my clothes before buying them, a_muppet: they have to fit right. I have tried on tops that looked like they'd fit, but actually were too small or the wrong cut on me.
