You know, for Jewish New Year (Rosh Hashanah)... we have "apples dipped in honey for a sweet new year." (you kind of sing that lol) I wonder if that is why I like to bring in the new year with something sweet.

I held true to gin and tonic on New Years Eve. Except for the champagne toast. oh and a rum and coke. I forgot the Chambord and a little wine. I think i had a beer too...
If it's something typically played for a holiday or holiday season and not much else, then it's holiday music! lol
When I think about all my NYE, we never played any music to celebrate the day in particular that I can recall. I didn't really go anywhere to celebrate with others that had music like that either... the only households we went to were actually people who listened to Latin music xD That was my cultural upbringing ;p

But maybe I heard parts of it in commercials...?? LOL
We drank the ice wine for NYE. It did end up being the very sweetest dessert wine of all we bought. We tried them all now.. took a few days because I don't drink much lol only about a glass or two tops. Most were actually half bottles, too!

I posted a video of it... Do you live in a cave? They play it at midnight when everybody does their new years kiss crap.
Since I was in the neighborhood and felt like hell Saturday I decided to treat myself to some wine coolers and I bought another small bottle of Crown. Might as well enjoy what's left of my time on this stupid planet.
My daughter and husband found a recipe for homemade Baileys liqueur they have made it in a lactose free version so that she can also enjoy it and oh boy are they enjoying it.
