The Drink Thread

Not sure what you mean by qualified. I've been cooking for at least 30 yrs but not chef quality. Just regular cooking. I just like to experiment sometimes with different things. Sometimes I'll see an article or recipe somewhere and think hmmm...sounds tasty.

As to your question...no, you brew the coffee and put in the broth. It gives it a different flavor but I didn't think it tasted like coffee.

Watermelon Lemonade Recipe

If I could tolerate watermelon this would be yummy.

I think there was a point to me asking, but I forget what it was. 

My ex did a catering course, and while the food looked special, it tasted ordinary and dull. 

People who learn as they go along seem to make better food.

We are such a bunch of wusses. I am sure any other forum discussing drink, would be discussing just how much whisky they can take of an evening.

We are sharing watermelon recipes.

Cherry we have people at work who are self proclaimed chefs who make the worst looking and worst tasting crap I ever saw.

And they're proud of it.

As this is the drinks thread I can honestly admit I had two Woo Woos last night and then slept like a baby....and snored like an elephant!

This looks delicious Marci, I like drink with lime or lemon in it. I also prefer clear juice.

Alcopop? That's a new term for me.

They are usually sweet, as they are designed for youngsters.
