I remembered them as I have a CD somewhere. They came and went in a short time though.

jen yeah, I think I had their CD too, like back in 2003 ish? For some reason I was sad when I listened to it. Their kind of musics like even in that video has like a sad (what's the word?) feeling to it, that is how I feel,

I've translated - using Google translate - a number of my poems:
"If I knew You Were Coming I'd Share Green Rushes With You" > Irish "Paint Me The Colours Of The Rainbow" > French "Spider, Spider" > Chinese "The Lipstick Story" > Italian AND Spanish "Sweden In Summer 1989" > Swedish "Jennifer Lopez: Her Life Story" > Spanish
This makes my poetry appeal to most people who speak a foreign tongue.
My co-worker is Russian but now US citizen. We have a very good work relationship too. She told me that her daughter named her son Dominic out of coincidence. What are the odds?
I asked her to teach me some Russian
Good Morning - Privyet My Friend = muy drug I'm sorry = praisty (I said that a lot since I'm IT and she is one of my customers) paka paka = bye bye (well a Russian Youtuber rally taught me that one)
(Google Translate has these sounds if you want to hear it too.)

My brother's girlfriend is fluent in Russian. Impressive, huh? My sister is fluent in Swedish. I just speak English, which is my loss. However, I am not bad at French!
Thinking about it, I am not aware of anyone in my family, close or distant, who is knowlegeable in any other language except English. An exception would be a very distant Australian relative who has a Dutch wife. I met her once when they came to the UK for a holiday.
Nothing wrong in only speaking your native tongue if you dont travel but people like my inlaws who traipsed around Europe for decades without a single word of any language other than English and thought the the way to get through to ' Jonny forgeiner ' was to speak loudly and slowly drive me mad.

That reminds me of a holiday I went on when I was younger. It was probably my folly but I went on an 18 - 30's with a view to getting a feel of foreign climes, including local culture and language. There was a bit of a split betwen me and most of the group. I quickly came to realise that most people on an 18 - 30's seem to just want a foreign extension to their sex, booze and club culture and don't really care about much else. Naive me It was nice to be able to go down to breakfast and get individual service as there were no queues whatsoever at that time of day though.

I can read and speak very basic French, but don't ask me to hold a conversation. I'd be alright in a cafe or restaurant. I can name colours, rooms and objects, too. I know other words as well, but I am a little rusty with my French. However, I'd soon pick it up.

Agreed , you have to spend time on language or it just vanishes, my French is bad these days and now that my French friend is no longer here I no longer use any French on a day to day basis.
My English is sometimes a bit hit and miss. I find that I cant think of the translation for something and end up using the Dutch word..
My German understanding and reading is better than I think.. I spent yesterday with my friend her niece and husband and although Constanza speaks some English( no Dutch) her husband doesnt so most of the conversation was in German with my English /Dutch comments and my friend who is German by birth but Dutch now and who speaks some English being designated interpreter!
I understood about 90% of the conversation but my spoken German is poor to nothing, just asking directions or shopping stuff..

Yes, it's pure Russian. It would be a bit more correct 'moy droog' and 'prusti/prustite' ('u' like in rug)
