Not Splashing the Cash

Yeah, we get an all-inclusive bill...water, electric, sewer, gas. Depending on where people live and whether the utilities are publicly owned, one may get separate bills each month. Colorado Springs Utilities is municipally owned, and public companies have been trying to buy it up for years. It's a good thing the city charter states that voters must approve the sale of municipally owned assets. One such asset is Memorial Hospital, on which the citizens approved a 40-year lease to UCHealth.
