when i am a regular person the jewelry items i wear most often are little earrings. they can't be too big because my ears are too small for my face which brings attention that my head is too small for my frame which probably makes people think i am stupid due to a lack of brain size but i assure you i have a big brain, it's just taking up space in my sinus cavities instead. hence the mouthbreathing.
delicate necklaces are second in frequent wear. third is rings but i do so much with my hands on a regular basis it's impractical to wear them all the time and once i ate a pave diamond that came off in the hamburger patties i made. last is bracelets because i have a "thing" about my joints being touched so i hate anything that touches my ankles, wrists, knees, hips.
almost all that goes out the window if I'm dressing up for something though.

I wore earrings daily, long and spirally. Now, I don't wear them. The first day I went back to work with a mask wearing just gold studs, I lost one of them. I can't afford to replace gold earrings on a daily basis, so I stopped wearing them altogether. I started to wear the studs again because I was afraid my holes would close up. Again, the first time out, I lost another one! GRRRRR!!!! Until we can get back to normal, I'm afraid I'll have to go without wearing them.
I have not bothered at all while having to wear a mask. In the supermarket yesterday I saw that the number of mask wearers has fallen. I wouldn't wear one except that some people are still frightened and it is a little thing to do to help them. This will have to end though as I will not live in a mask.

Ive lost several butterflies from the backs of studs when the elastic of masks got caught but no entire earings yet..
Im still wearing my mask,my OH is heart lung patient Ive got one old man with only one kidney and my friend is a diabetic with copd. How do I cope if I kill one of them by infecting them?
I just hope people will be considerate enough to move a little when they see others who are still cautious.
Today on our walk with the dogs there were a group of people blocking the entire path.. At first I asked 'excuse me can we pass'? they moved an inch if that..But basically ignored me. So I took a step forward pointed at Murphy and said 'sorry but my dog is a biter'.... It was like Moses crossing the red sea !
If people are going to be rude I will get my walking stick out again... a sharp prod in the backside generally does the trick.

Mask or no mask I always wear earrings. If I don't I can hear my ears complaining...lol...

Jewellery is a personal choice.
As you all know, I've been wearing earrings since I was 11 years old. I LOVE having pierced ears. Wearing stylish - and unusual - earrings is wonderful.
It is part of my personal fashion style. This is along with always having manicured, funky painted, nails.
I was about 11 when I had my ears pierced for the first time and then when I was 13 I got them done for a second time. The headmistress of the all girls school I went to noticed and asked me if they were real piercings to which I replied yes...
To my surprise she made my 'outrageous fashion choice' the subject of that day's school assembly.

What did she have against it? Besides you were just a little girl.

I was a rebel ..on non-uniform days I wore skin tight jeans, Dr Martens, a leather bomber jacket. I was in that kind of goth rocker style stage of teenage life and she accused me of being a rampant lesbian who was misleading other girls...I think the double piercings just confirmed her suspicions.. ( in her own mind)

Boy, you were ahead at 11
Not really it was just that I didn't want to be a girl. I had three brothers, my dad already told me that because I was a girl I'd have to fight harder ,work harder and study more just to prove I was the equal of a boy and I really didn't think that was fair so if I was a boy life would have been easier.

This got me thinking of when I first got my ears pierced. I thought I was eleven but I found out I was ten. At least that's what my mother tells me. I really don't know how she remembers that.

I was allowed to have pierced ears at school. Lucky me! I still wear earrings to this day. I am an earring fashion lover: I wear very outrageous and cool earrings. There are no limits.

Nothing like that now, but I used to have a pair of very star Trekkie types a large jewel stud with 3 thin chains that hung under the chin and connected to the other ear.

i insisted i get my ears pierced at 4 and i recall the experience vividly because we went to a place at the mall so they pulled out a piercing gun and i remember freaking out that they were going to put a gun near my head and i ran out of the shop but my mom made me go through with it because she was like now or never because i don't want to hear you beg for it again.
the longest earrings i think i have are about 3 inches long. i think any longer and they'd get stuck on my shoulders

Asian? I have never heard of similar.
Maybe, I most likely bought them in Shepherds Bush or North end road London.. Those were two of our fav places to shop back then.
