Tidying up today: garbage and recycling out, laundry on the go, kitchen cleaned up... Took a walk before that as well, so I wouldn't be too tired after the cleaning!
One more thing on my list is to get birthday cards ready for snail mail. I did one by email already, and should remember one more as well. Lots of people I know having birthdays this week or next!
We took out the first window frame found a large abandoned wasp nest ..Weve rebuilt the parts of the frame that hold the actual window frame into the house. Now just working on a bit of a framework above and below the windowsill and then we will cover it with plastic for this evening the new window will go in tomorrow.

Finally remembered to hand in ballots for this year's People's Choice sculpture in the city's Sculpturewalk, so that was my errand while on a walk this morning. Also dealt with laundry and dishes, plus I did some baking. After lunch, I did the budget tracking and ordered birthday presents for the oldest teen. (Once I decide, I don't like waiting. Sure, I'll have to hide them until the actual day, but at least they won't be late...)

I've had my heavenly daily shower. I also put on a load of laundry and have been cleaning my apartment. I am also listening to my favourite radio station.
Yesterday I got busy and did some cleaning around the house. I also prepared for today too (art group). I picked some more tomatoes and peppers from the greenhouse. The peppers are Ok but the tomatoes are really in dribs and drabs this year. The plants are going downhill now though as autumn tightens it's grip.
It was a busy day for me yesterday as I first visit my auntie who is recovering from bone fractures (I mentioned previously), then I went to a couple of shops on my way to art group. I was not tired at the time but it hit me as soon as I got home. Maybe I shuld spread the load but I do like to make full use of the car when I take it out of the garage
I thought I would be ill all day. Maybe cough a bit, blow my nose a lot, have achy joints, feel continually cold, and, of course, moan generally about it all.

I had my heavenly daily shower. I also had a shave: no one wants to resemble a gorilla. I also cleaned my bathroom and kitchen and will be eating my lunch shortly.
I am online and listening to my favourite radio station.

Did you pick something up on the cruise?
That was four days ago. I think I picked it up when I went for the groceries.
Today has been a busy one we got up at 5 walked the dogs then we took out the big window in the living room I then went off and did the weekly shopping and when I got back my husband had already built the new inner frame. We then fitted the window frame and the glass and we're now just sitting here ....exhausted.

I once fitted a couple of wooden window frames. It was not easy. I hated putty.

These are triple glazed upvc . No putty involved but the old framework is rotten so it all has to come out. Then we have to pin the walls again and start at the beginning before fitting the new frames... Well only another 4 to do. Today was the biggest so the rest should be a doddle..

I have watched them fitting them on youtube. It didn't look effortless. It's great that you are both so capable.

You just never know. We go nowhere and socialise with no one yet we got it. Luckily it didn't last long and my only lasting effect is that I cant stomach black tea anymore.
