Had to work today because I couldn't use any PTO for Friday to leave early for a weekend trip lol only 4 hours today and then 4 hours on Friday.. so not so bad. Still can get a lot done in the day.
I did try to set up an account with imgur just after I joined the Forum, but apparently they don't allow UK to join.
I then came across Flickr who offer an upload of 1,000 photos on their FREE account, which is more than I need at the moment. After that you can pay a small subscription to upload more.
I am not familiar with postimage.
Weird, we have people in the UK that were using imgur without an issue, but I wouldn't know of any more recent changes.
Any site will do, but not all will allow the images to show up in the post if pasting it directly is all. My SO helped make imgur links show as an image instead of a link without having to upload Just for convenience, but there is a link insertion option within the posts that may embed images otherwise.
I do. I didn't join. I just use it, but you do have to wait for the advert to clear.

Just the usual day for me today: nothing to write home about. BUT last night I did write my good friend a letter and will be sending it off later today.
Im going to have a second shower once OH is finished. I stink like a polecat.
We got our fence and shed foundation delivery today and have moved and stacked 22 fence panels 50 beams 24 fence posts 12 planks and 16 smaller posts. Its 24c and we are in full sun.. I think I ve had enough exercise today lol

A great relaxing day for me
Okay, I sit down whilst I am working and have a bit of a chat with my ladies, so the day goes quite quickly and I love it.
If I have something specific I want to do on any particular day (especially when Sophia is at work), I can arrange my bookings in advance around it to suit me.

Today is Moosday here: the Tuesday after a holiday Monday! We call it that because we tend to arrange the day similar to our usual Mondays, with time in the afternoon for relaxation or napping if needed after the weekend.
The oldest teen had a school video chat this morning, and worked on his Social Studies final project. I'm so happy that he wanted to use a photo of my dad's Uncle Stanley for his project, where you tell a family story related to an "heirloom" photo or object. Stanley was a WWII soldier who's buried in Bergen-Op-Zoom, and we just found his military service record at Library & Archives Canada, so we have a bunch more info to tell his story than we ever had before. Hooray!
The middle guy and I discussed some English topics on the list of required curriculum items. School for today done! We also walked to the library together for a few new books, plus the exercise!
The kids have been taking a post-lunch "quiet time" and I've been listening to Newsboys again while chatting here. Not sure if we'll have chips or popcorn next for fun (a reward for slowing down and relaxing?) and then get to some reading time.
I got busy yesterday before the predicted rains of today. Lots of little jobs around the house and in the garden. Nothing really notable but all needing to be done.
My brother was going to visit regarding some paperwork for mum's effects but he has tested positive for covid so we cancelled the visit.

We missed my daughter last week with that. It hasn't gone away, has it?

Sadly not but at least it's usually a fairly minor thing now.

That sounds like a big garden.
to be honest its not huge, total garden is 165 m2 but the fence line runs both sides.
some of the beams are for the framing of the new shed/garden room . My biggest surprise is that Im not really stiff or sore from all that lifting and carrying..

Today, I'm drinking a homemade latte (lavendar w/ 2%), I have yoga at 11am followed by grocery shopping (since i'm out) and, what i'm most excited about, going to LabCorp for some bloodwork at 1:15p (though i haven't called to place an order).
Once a month (or so) I get bloodwork done to make sure I'm maintaining my body (I'm 56 years old and my grandmother and mother died at 49). I don't have insurance so I have to jump through a few hoops to get what I want (they aren't so bad) I use this site: requestatest.com/womens-health-panel-testing only because it is cost efficent and if i travel (for fun) I can take the test in one of the two states I frequent.
After bloodwork, I'm having lunch with my youngest [adult] son (his treat, he promised) and then I'm going to finish up Handmaid's Tale and start that House of Dragon show before season 2 starts
I'll let y'all know what this goes (hopefully according to plan LOL)

I ended up reading a book in one sitting. I also have started reading another book. I had a health visitor come over and she's helped me enormously. Her advice was spot-on and I don't know why it didn't occur to me to start with.
Anyhow, I had dinner at my dad's house and he drove me home. He has said he'll help me clean-up my apartment: just the bits I've missed. It will be good to have my apartment up to standard.

We're done with History for the middle guy and the youngest! Yay! That was this morning's accomplishment, and this afternoon's was that the oldest teen is almost done one of his final projects, so that course will be off the schedule soon. I also contacted the science teacher, who said a final project would be a good alternative to the usual exam.
We also learned about more AI tools that the oldest can use next school year, with the principal's permission to rely more on AI like a tutor. Maybe that'll help compensate some for having learning difficulties?
Other interesting things today: The Sisko Day 2024 (a Virtual Trek Con idea, started last year) and yummy pancakes for supper!
Yesterday was a little busy for me again. I had the mid week shop and art group as usual but on the way I went to visit an auntie of mine who has recently had a bad fall and broken her hip. She is back home from hospital and on the mend now so things seem to be progressing OK. On my visit I found her sat up in a chair and in very good spririts. She is determined to recover well and is doing the physio as required, although it is a bit painful, hoping that she can soon escape being cooped up in the house.
