#2. People who do certain things at work and when you do the same thing they preach at you that you're supposed to do it this certain way but they don't.
Another one with TV companies is the way they cut off the credits to announce the next program. We often watch something on the TV and think - 'Is that so and so' or wonder about the original program date and want to check. We get really frustrated as they cut or shrink the size of the credits. It doesn't help when the playout music is something you like either and this voice comes booming over it.
Imagine being someone who who worked on the film/show and you wanted to show your parents/kids/mates your name in the credits and you can't. Doesn't seem right to me.

I usually go to IMDB while I'm watching a show, but we do like being able to see credits sometimes. With movies watched as a family, we make a game of looking for our first names in the credits.
being called a fat pig in mcdonalds yep.. that's what I got yesterday
WTF, was it just some random person or someone you know? No excuse for it either way, but if it was someone you know, then I would stay away from them.

So sorry you had to deal with this. There's no excuse for this. *hugs*
My Uncle was at a McD's recently and some random bloke walked in and punched him for no reason. The cops had to be called and such a mess. People today, I don't understand all the hostility.

There are plenty of idiots about. Sometimes, I just wonder if I am lucky, not inter locking with them.
There is one in our town, he is big and very powerful looking, and he cycles around with an enormous cb receiver strapped to his bike. It's on all the time, and he just wanders into shops with the bike. No-one ever says anything.
His hair is very tight curls, shaved at the sides, and in a pony tail from the top.

But mostly, he has that crazy look about him.
I don't know if you have ever heard CB recently. Really it's over the top in a big way with obscenities. I heard it on a friend I used to visits' radio. He is a radio enthusiast but he actually appeared terrified that he would get on the bad side of them. There is an authority whose job it is to police the airwaves here (like the FCC in the US). In general they don't unless, for example, government services are affected.

That IS rude. But that just shows their insecurities and fears. Please don't take their words to heart: they are just vile with no manners. They don't deserve your time or attention. Maybe they are scared that they are fat, so therefore cast those fears onto innocent people. You did nothing to deserve that insult.

There was a woman in a nearby town who had wandered up to a man at a busstop and struck him across the face several times. The person in the newspaper also had history of other assaults on people. It is pretty dire. What was going on in the woman's head, I do not know. But she was reported to the police. Needless to say, she was arrested and faced charges of assault.
I guess there are people out there who are sick in their minds and have no control over their behaviour. It's sickening yet sad.

I think a lot of the time it is people with mental health issues. To some extent due to the lack of support they are cast aside and do cause problems. Years ago they would be put in asylums but they all closed and now there are only smaller units spread thinly. I don't know what the right solution is but they haven't got it. The public get the problems and the police pick up the pieces.

I have heard that our prisons are mostly populated by mental health sufferers.

It's called care in the community. The idea was that instead of being confined to asylums with on hand medical help these people would be released into the community and given off site care. The reality is that they are basically like ships drifting at sea , there is no care , there is one social worker for every 50 or so people, GP's are overloaded, overworked, underpaid, understaffed so they cannot be of any significant help. The result is that the police and the prison service find themselves being mental health social workers and the general community find themselves at the mercy of those who have gone off the rails.

The woman does have serious mental health problems. And needs psychiatric care. It is sad that so many are left in trouble - when if they were helped - they'd improve and would be able to intigrate themselves into normal society.

But like the NHS, no-one wants to pay for it. Who is going to want to pay extra VAT, or income tax?
We expect the government to find the money without taking it off of us.

You are spot on there. I can see why but I think the current round of striking workers will only make things umpteen times worse, especially for the poorer people.

Waffling. I HATE it. Just get to the point..spit it out.. omg..gahhh.
Same here. And stuttering. It drives me nuts when someone waffles. Why can't they just say it? I also find people who never wash up in the kitchen after themselves annoying.
This jacket potato really set me fuming. The country is falling apart, people are skipping meals and showering in cold water and some prize p**** comes up with this.
