I liked the first season better than the second, and, for me, Paloma Faith, and her sister were the stars of the show.

i been finding things to watch on amazon prime. i watched a movie called elsa and fred the other night. a sweet little love story.

Strange New Worlds for my Star Trek day of the week! The boys will likely want to see last week's episode this afternoon, then there'll be a new one for me tonight!

i started to watch wing and a prayer but it made me kinda sad. i ended up going with benny & joon. a johnny depp movie.

We watched the first 5 episodes of The Witcher season 3... it will be the last season with the current actor as Geralt... can't believe they will be replacing him. It's going to make it weird to watch with a whole new main character.. They really messed up by not trying harder to keep him.

I found the documentary, "Tim's Vermeer” really quite entertaining. (Hulu presentation) “Johannes Vermeer”, was a 17th century Dutch painter known for his painting’s minute detail.

Anyway, Tim Jenison, modern day inventor suggests Vermeer may have used a combination of optical lenses and mirrors to produce his paintings' intricate details.

The Tim Jensison documentary explores the relationship between science and art. Tim Jensison is not an artist but over 4 or 5 months he produced a replica of Vermeer’s painting, “The Music Lesson”.

I haven’t read any reviews but I found the documentary quite compelling. Whether using science (optics) to paint, replicate essentially a “photographic image” takes away from art, I’m not sure.

I've just finished watching "Ella Enchanted" online.

It is a great film and a lot of fun! It has comedy to it and soul. It is a film I'd watch again.

I watched "Coyote Ugly" on DVD this afternoon.

A truly brilliant film.

Although I still have a Barbie doll, which I don't play with BTW, I will not be seeing the movie even though it looks like a hit with over 133 million in the first weekend.

Rather you than me. I saw a clip on bbc this morning ...its the candy floss stuff of nightmares. Just that sickly stupid voice made me want to throw up...

I've heard that this is a movie about female empowerment. Apparently it shows girls that they can have it all.

Sorry to sound like a broken record but we all know that that is a lie.
There are 24 hours in a day, if you work eight hours, sleep eight hours then there are not enough hours left to be the perfect mother, the perfect wife, the perfect lover and have the perfect lifestyle. Therefore having it all is not possible, what is possible is to possess these things ( job house, children etc) and then farm out the responsibility to others.

Quite apart from that, Barbie is a highly sexualized, highly body modified idea of what a woman should look like and it's a bad role model for girls.
