I love factual crime shows. I don't go much for soap operas. I love action adventures, too. "Walker, Texas Ranger" is one of the best. I also love "Unsolved Mysteries". I love "Money For Nothing", "A Place In The Sun", "Fixer Upper" and "Find It, Fix It, Flog It". All equally good TV programmes.
There are some great shows on TV!
I found one of the Walker, Texas Ranger seasons for free in the past year. Still haven't watched it, but I remember enjoying the show with my dad when it was new.
We'll be all caught up with Blacklist sort of soon... the new season will be on live TV, so then it will be a weekly showing... we'll have to pick a new show from our long list of old shows to watch in the interim lol

I'm always watching some old show, lately it has been Dick Van Dyke.
WE have just watched a 3 part documentary called A killing in Tiger bay , it was one of the worst miscarriages of justice in British history and a clear case of racism by the police. The worst part was at the end when it emerged that the police had lied and commited perjury in the investigation 15+ years later to make sure the investogating officers didnt get punished. Just showing that in all those years not much has changed within the force.

I lean towards period pieces. (I am a recovering addict of romance novels.)
STARZ has a 4-episode series of "Howard's End". I loved it. The character development is really quite good, although the first two episodes are the best of the series.
Matthew McFadden plays the role of Henry, a treat when he proposes.
I finished watching Squid Game! While some parts are predictable because the genre has been done several times in the past, it's still an enjoyable show for me overall. Great production as well, as expected.
We finished Squid Game now. It was a short series. Seems there could be a second one.... all I have to say is.. wtf is up with that hair at the end LOL
We will likely start on the newest season of You next... but new episodes of Law & Order are also out (SVU and Organized Crime)... plus Blacklist is back with the new season, too. We also have Fear the Walking Dead on Sundays.. So many things to watch!
Last night we watched The Trick. It's based on a true story about about Dr Philip Jones and his research into climate change. It's not exciting or explosive in the normal way but the fact that disinformation and hackers leaking information out of context can create a 10-year lapse in our knowledge and our action on climate change is astonishing and sad. I really felt for Dr Jones he was broken by the lies that were told and his life's work was put in danger because of what, greed? Or just the trill of trolls....

I found a good movie to share with the boys: Switched. The youngest might not be as interested, but it's like Freaky Friday meets Mean Girls. It came out last year, so I think that'll appeal to the younger generation that hasn't seen the aforementioned Lindsay Lohan movies.
