We'll be watching The Expanse season finale... hope it's good. Some of the episodes were a bit slower and spent too much time on parts, but it was still overall good.
Halt and Catch Fire is growing on me and is pretty entertaining.

I thought the latest season of Halifax is OK, not quite as good as the earlier episodes. Celia has become a bit more edgy. And what's up with Jillian dumping Robbie so quickly?
There's going to be a new Law & Order... Organized Crime. It will have Stabler from the SVU show. I wish they would have just brought him back onto SVU instead of a whole new show lol
Super bowl weekend has arrived and with it a "Hobbit" marathon. KMN comes to mind.
Can the "Death Star" jump to light-speed? If not, its just a single use weapon and a dumb one.
Speaking of the Super Bowl it just wont be the same this year. Last year we had a house full of people and partied all night. No, not the same this year.
At the weekend with nothing else to do I watched a film called The Dig it's supposed to be about the biggest discovery of Anglo-Saxon treasure in Great Britain , Sutton hoo.. To be honest de film is a bit of a slushie will they won't they, half romance but it filled a cold and miserable Saturday afternoon very well.

I enjoyed that film. I would have liked a bit more background on the failed marriage.
Also on Netflix, Cassie, is the Detectorists. It's a polite comedy about treasure hunters with metal detectors. Do check it out. It's a bit of a slow burner, but really good w-nce you get the hang of it. I still smile ever time they use the Simon and Garfunkel punchline.

NETFLIX, "The Sinner", three seasons now. I watched all three seasons. Not sure why. The best I can figure, each season starts on an interesting premise, but then falls flat. I hate it when that happens and it seems to be happening more and more on NETFLIX.

They get you into it and then almost get lazy about the quality... but you keep watching because you want to see how it ends at least lol
I think they have been too focused on pumping out new shows constantly.. and they only last a couple seasons. Sometimes they don't even care if it has an ending, which really bugs me. At least give an ending, geez.
A good film very fitting because it took place at this time of year is the Dutch film De hell van 63 ( the hell of 63) based on the true story of the 11 city skating marathon that took place in 1963. You will need subtitles though....een the Dutch needed subtitles because much of it is in Fries.

Ive seen the detectorists, OH loved it. He has a one of those things somewhere but I think hes forgotten about it anyway he did enjoy the show because he understood the subject matter .
News of the world with Tom Hanks , anyone?
Ive been hearing good things and its on my to watch list , I was surprised to see it on netflix so soon because Id only just seen it on the film review show. I'll watch it because I like Tom Hanks although Im not keen on westerns.
