We started on Champions.

It has some funny moments, but overall it feels too scripted. Many of the actors don't seem natural with their punchlines, and it has a forced feeling to it that takes away from any humor that might otherwise be found in it. Maybe it will improve more episodes in, but so far I can see why it was cancelled lol

Perhaps I'm getting desperate but I watched "Miracle" recently. Older movie, but I like Kurt Russell. Its about the victory of the USA's amateur hockey team over the Soviet Union's pro-team at the 1980 Olympics.

Something about sports is always uplifting. It isn't the best movie but still fun. It is a very minor comment in the movie, but when Kurt Russell leans towards his assistance coach and says of the Soviet team's coach..."he doesn't know what to do", well the line made the movie.

I've been binging an old crime show "Silent Witness". A pathologist uses dead body evidence to help solve crimes. Some of the episodes are a bit dated now, but if you like mysteries it is quite good. I like the characters.

Have crime and other cop shows now become obsolete? Most portray cops as the good guys.

Of course not. Many also show the reality of there being corrupt cops who also get caught and punished accordingly instead of being immune.

After Hill st Blues, it isn't worth watching cop shows.

Have you seen Cracker over there? A criminal psychologist that solves crimes. That is rather dark, and quite heavy going, but very well done. It stars Robbie Coltrane, from Harry Potter.

lol Cracker... That's a derogatory term used for white people over here xD

I haven't watched The Office yet.... I will probably watch Space Force before I watch The Office, and maybe that will be a good thing so I don't have a good comparison lol

The highest grossing movie in history, "Gone with the Wind" is removed by HBO. Apparently the antebellum South is too provocative for "woke" people. (A supporting black actress in the movie actually won an Academy Award, a first.)

My question, if the movie's presentation isn't acceptable, make another version. Why censor the first, just make a better, more acceptable one.

One of my favorite liberals, Christopher Hitchens once said; when you censor you are making a prisoner of yourself. You are limiting your own ability to hear a different thought.

As my father often said.. The only place a man is truly free is inside his own mind..

It seems unless the thought police are also bought in this will soon be our only place of freedom, just in case we offend!
