I wouldn't do it to a little girl! Kacey took the ice water, did a little dance, and then challenged others to do it because it's for a good cause. Just another reason why I like her!
Yikes... I know it can be hard to not say cuss words at times with children around, and they can pick up on things like that easily, but you really should teach them not to say those things.
The parents just think it's funny, so the kid will keep doing it and get worse!
i dont know how old the kid is so i cant really say anything about the swearing, my OHs 2YO neice has picked up swear words, and i do actually see the funny side when it comes out, SOMETIMES like the other day her mum swore & she repeated it, the first time it was like omg did she really do that and it made me chuckle, obv her mum told her its a naughty word & not to repeat it, she did and she got told off for it but anyway at 2 i dont think they really get that its a bad word, but to say 'f.. u mum' yeah thats a bit OTT but i cant say wether or not i would post the video...

Until the age of 4 it is best to ignore swearing, as if it didn't happen. They are after a reaction, so don't give them one, and they will soon forget it.
I dont think swearing is cute, at all, but i think the way it rolls off their tongue does make me chuckle a little, that doesnt mean its okay, and it doesnt mean they shouldnt be told its wrong, its also best to hide your giggles but sometimes its just not easy.

No. Teaching them at a young age that swearing is funny will only get them in trouble. She'll have a truck drivers mouth by the age of four now. Well, maybe. LOL.
Uploading her to youtube was silly, but everybody likes to put every little thing on the internet these days... So it's not surprising.
okay so... malakai is making noises which sound like words but i dont think all the time he is actually saying the word. for example; if i say something is dirty, he will say back to me 'dirty' but hes not a active speaker as such he only says a few words without copying them as they are said. so the other day my OHs sisters partner came over and he was crouched on the floor, M walked up to him, put his face in his and said 'dit-het' which sounded horribly like 'di*khead' i was mortified but i couldnt help but laugh bcos of HOW he did it, i ignored it didnt say nothing to him and hes not said anything like it since, so i do think it was a noise that sounded like a word but still imagine doing that in public haha..
anyway.. what about this swearing kid.. wopuld you upload this..

my plan is, if he ever says something that sounds like a swear word, we will change it to a non swear word and ask if he said that, it will be easier when younger but im trying my best to stop swearing myself!

This is a case about the parents not the wee girl. Wee ones that age are just a reflection of their parents. Parents don't realise kids hear 100% of everything you say even if they don't show it. They also absorb everything they see on telly.
As parents we all go though the naughty words issue and the "being too honest" issue,
One time I was with my wee boy who was only three -four at the time and we were in the checkout queue. There was a really heavy women in front of us and so my son blurted out "Mommy why is that woman so fat?" And you know kids only have one volume level (TOO LOUD). I though I was going to die if embarrassment. Plus I had no freaking idea where he even got the word fat from at his age.
Anyway, so pulled him aside and did the whole, "We don't say that about other people" speech. Of course he came back with "Well why not? It's true and you said never lie?" Sigh......
Eventually I made him go up to the women and apologize, who, by the way, thought the whole situation was hilarious.
Funny the women and I started talking afterwards and till this day are still friends.
