Tooth decay is the least problematic thing about soda in my opinion. There's loads of sugar in it, that causes insulin spikes, insulin resistance, diabetes, weight gain,...
Soda is a treat for me, I buy/drink it for special occasions only like Easter, Christmas and birthdays, though I often just drink peach juice when I'm eating out or even at birthday parties.
Can't edit the previous post, but I do just want to add I hope I'm not coming off as stuck-up and a know-it-all. I just wanted to contribute to the conversation, but sometimes it's difficult for me to word things properly.
Well I didn't spot any problem.
But if I had, I would have advised you that on here we enjoy a difference of opinion. We also like debates.
Not so good are argument, insults or patronising.
Hope that makes it clear, and you continue to feel welcome to express your opinion.

That didn't cross my mind at all. Being knowledgeable or opinionated isn't a bad thing.
it's often forgotten, to. I'm not talking about with me, I'm talking about in general... a lot of people think self care is actually doing stuff for their bodies or their skin, but it doesn't have to be, at all. their are loads of things you can do still

For sure. We have mental health that is just as important!
I think I'll consider gardening self-care. It makes me happy!
Trials have shown it lowers blood pressure and stress.
also your bank balance.
lol! Well, I could always use stress reduction, but not always blood pressure. Mine is kind of low naturally.
And well.. I have extra money for plants! We do it slowly instead of spending it all at once lol I would not spend money I don't have on plants.. I'm not an addict, I swear!
I recently looked through some info on soda having to do with a person's bones and came across some info that it's bad for your lungs especially with COPD. Actually I think it's the carbonation that's the issue. So I wonder if it's ok to drink it flat? LOL!
Anyway I decided once the remainder of my soda is gone I'm going back to non-carbonated drinks. *Wrinkles nose*

I know health food stores have sodas sometimes with better ingredients and less sugar if you still wanted a treat of soda every now and then lol
Tai Chi, I have done that before, but not in a while. I'll probably get back into it eventually because it's easier to do with joint issues than some other things! lol very relaxing, and it can even be fun!
Tai chi is so cool... I did karate for about 5 or 6 years and then quit. I dislike sports, would love to do some simple ballet moves for exercise (user named "Lazy Dancer Tips" has some nice barre workouts on Youtube) but my flexibility is nonexistent. I'm working on it, but the progress is unbelievably slow... Makes me wonder if a plank like me could ever become flexible lol.
I'm not too fussy an eater and tend to mix and match. There are some things I eat too much of though. I just plan that lots of walking and a very varied diet will sort things out.

Tai Chi is actually really enjoyable! It stretches the muscles and keeps you supple. Doing a lot of walking keeps my legs strong and defined, too. I actually like my legs. I do wish they were a bit longer, but they're strong and healthy.
I have actually dared to go to the hairdresser, !!
Of course it was with her wearing gloves mask and apron and me in a proper N95 mask too but my hair looks less like a wild birds nest and more as if it has a bit of style going on...
