Today is fat Saturday so I made hamburgers. 125g patty On a wholemeal bun. ( OH likes them) With.... Lettuce ,tomato ,sliced honey gherkin, raw onion, smoked cheese and sauce.
Bagels with havarti cheese and bacon with pepper and garlic. The cream cheese tasted off, so I tossed it. Then I scrambled some eggs in a lot of butter and placed it on top... lol and heated up some maple pork sausages. Yum!
I tend to have a fairly plain cereal for breakfast (Malties - Sainsbury's version of Shreddies at the moment) but add other things to it. I have with warmed milk, half a spoon of malt plus pumpkin seeds, fresh chopped tumeric root and fennel seeds. My coffee is black and sweetened with honey. Don't ask me how all this came about as it is somewhat historical and built up and varies from time to time. I love herbs and spices and have them at almost every meal except supper.
This lunch it will be tinned tuna with sliced tomatoes, sprinkled with herbs and spices, warmed up in the microwave. With this I have toast rubbed with fresh garlic, sprinkled with sea salt and wetted with chilli spiced olive oil.
I ate my typical breakfast bar... lol now I have to figure out what I want for lunch. I don't have many options, and I suppose I'm not keen on any of them lol
