What's for breakfast/lunch/dinner?

I have a chilli con carne pie for tonight.

Sausages and chips for dinner tonight.

Coffee for breakfast, and coffee only all the way through till lunch. It's fasting day, and those 366 calories are all mine to do with at my leisure.

Just some cereal this morning.

Something light tonight for dinner. I'm not feeling to well.

What's up?  

I'm not to interested in breakfast this morning so I am just having a little juice.

I had a cup of tea but I will have lunch with someone today, very unexpected.

About 15 years ago, I met with the founder of a company located about 4 miles away from my current house.
Well, the man still remembers me. He called me this morning asking me if I wanted to have lunch with him today. He is about to retire and asks me if I am interested in running his company for him. I told him that I am preparing to retire too but he insists on lending my ears to him for about an hour over lunch so I will see. We will have Mediterranean.

We are having pancakes with a side of bacon for breakfast this morning.

I've had bread and butter with my coffee this lunchtime.

I am having bacon rolls with sweet potato chips, and veg.

It was an enjoyable lunch. He plans to train the new successor for a year then retires as President Emeritus. Things for me to consider but there is resistance from hubby.

I tend to try considering things in a particular fashion. I will either "Think 'yes' but be considering 'no', or vice versa.

I am sure between you you will come up with a good response... 

My own thought, is that if it takes him 1 year to train you, how many years will it take for you to feel you have repaid him, or feel obliged to stay for? Thus it will really affect any retirement plan.
