Your once chance at a Do Over in Life...what would it be?

Oh wow, that's a big one.

I'd be less hard on myself... and I would have stuck to being off of gluten when I was little. I was put on that diet for my arthritis without knowing I had an issue with gluten.. I could have avoided so many years of being sick if I would have stayed on it. Health is so important, and many people take it for granted.

If I only knew then what I know now.... :-)

I don't really have many things I'd want to do over, though. Most of what I'd wish to change are things I cannot change even in a do over. Some things are unavoidable, unfortunately... and are a part of you no matter what. But maybe learning to accept that earlier would have helped me, too.. so there is that =p

I would leave my ex earlier
I would lose all my fat lots earlier
I would have recognised when I was being bullied at work earlier

But we live and learn.

In all honesty, and despite not being the smartest, I can honestly say that I have not made the same mistake twice.

The rest of you are just the same, you are not stupid, so don't run yourself down for making one mistake. You have to learn life as you go along.

I would have opted out of conforming to social norms and become a traveller.

ALSO... it's never too late to "start again", in a sense :-)

I often wonder if it is our ex's that made us into the people that makes my so and myself so in tune with each other.

I don't think my ex's changed me to become the right person for my boyfriend; I wasn't with them long enough for that. I just had to waste some time with them before finding him lol but it is strange how we dated the same wrong types of people.. our exes were similar.. and my bf and I are very similar. We were basically just dating our opposites, I guess.... and we had to both reach a point where we were sick of those types... and break up with them.. then we ran into each other right after!

Sometimes bad things lead to good things.
