Also, you can say who sees what, so it really is all up to the poster.

Some people really do share too much. Checking in at places while you are out... perfect for being stalked... sharing your jogging route.. same! lol I don't say where I am going... I only say where I have been once I am back home =p

But the main issue is.. people add anyone and everyone on FB. People they met maybe once.. someone who knows someone they know... How can you trust them? I have hardly anyone on my friend's list... but even for the people I don't know too well on my list.. they don't see anything about me unless I want them to.

The worst is when you are part of professional groups on Facebook and people have sexy profile photos and inappropriate names... like.. "Keisha BIG BOOTY Devall" (I made that up, but I have seen things along those lines).

I never share my home address or phone number in social networks, but I share some photos, usually making it seen just for people who are in my friend list.

I once read an article about not posting your children's photos as some bad person can see it and have dirty desired about your child, but it's stupid as for me. The same sick person can see us, when we're going for a walk and then he/she would also know where we live and can even hear my child's name and so on... I mean security is important, but we shouldn't get crazy about it.

I never post my son's naked photos as when he'd grow up a little it can make him uncomfortable, but if I want my friends and relatives who live far to see how do I look (not to forget:)) or how my child is growing I find it much easier just to post those photos in social networks than sending it to everyone I want to...

Yeah.. facebook is great for keeping in touch with people you don't see often. I don't see an issue with posting pictures of children.. it's not like you post them in random groups all over the internet lol I mean, it's your own FB page... it's a safe place when you make everything friends only.

That must have been humiliating.

I never trusted any social websites.. even in youth. I was paranoid lol even without my information given, I was afraid people would be able to track me down..

Im published I have a website and a FB page my photo is out there and so I guess the day will come when someone will recognise me....please

No surprise. Ethics and morals are expensive.

I used to be in everyday, now everyday i am not on...

I still use it as a news feed. FB can be whatever you want.. it depends on what you like/follow and who you have added. I barely have any friends on there, so it's just information galore for me, so I enjoy it lol
