I feel like we already have all the answers in nature... Nature is all about balance.
We have such a disrespect for nature. It's sad. We wipe out animals, habitats, foodstuffs, pretty much any nature that we can get something off without having to pay for it.

We are just leeches.
The most despicable thing to me is people hunting for fun, there is no excuse killing animals for fun.

We don't even mean to be leeches, exactly; we're usually unaware of how much damage we are doing. And those who are aware, don't care.
This is why I was glad to read that some indigenous peoples prayed to thank the animals they had to kill, and they used all of the animal so there wasn't waste. That kind of respect and moderation is what we need.
Good point. I am sure we all do something that can hurt the environment without really knowing it. Maybe it's time that reflect on our actions. Every little thing can help.
Not good. I wonder what changes this will actually bring?
Some very severe weather most likely. I always think about how a lot of houses aren't even built for the severe storms we're going to have more often over time.

In 2004 there were 4 hurricanes that passed over central Florida in six weeks. Since then all houses built have to be done to a very stringent standard to reduce the damage from hurricanes.

Yeah, we have to actually wait for the bad situations to happen first instead of thinking ahead lol
If I ever get the chance to have a house built, then I'm going to have them be as storm proof as possible so I might not have to worry as much during my lifetime. Although.. not sure anything can ever be done if a really strong tornado came along other than to have a small tornado shelter.

No matter what you do and build. Nothing can withstand all the storms that mother nature can throw at you.
I was just thinking about the power of mother nature the other day. Last week, when I walked through the woods, the rain had made the paths rather muddy. The following day, we had high winds. So two days after muddy paths, I went for my walk, and the ground was no longer muddy, but stodgy, so easier to walk, and it occurred to me. How would we have dried the woods out, and how much would it have cost to do the same job, as nature did?

The energy involved must have been vast.
It is amazing how things can change in just one day. As to the answer it would probably cost billions if it could be done at all.

I've been watching this series (24-lectures) on the "Black Death". The bubonic plague devastated Europe starting in or about 1340 AD. One interesting fact that came up though, was that the European population doubled between 1000 and the 1340 date and was due to a period of global warming. Warmer temperatures increase arable lands and food supplies.
I guess the desire to cool the planet these days is to reduce the population through famine.
Apparently there were three types of plague, one that affected the lymphatic system (dark blue buboes) 18 to 20% survival chance, another the lungs 2% chance and a blood infection that resulted in death in less than 24-hours.
Although the plague returned periodically over the next fer centuries, it was never as lethal. Based upon DNA studies, the bacterium evolved to be less lethal and less likely to kill its hosts.
The technolofy is getting so advanced, it helps people kill themselves without even knowing it.
My desk in my home office is right under the heat register, so I know how hot it is getting in this house, otherwise, I have no clue just by walking around the house.
