It's status isn't it.

I have a friend who is a multi millionaire, she lives alone and in a smaller house than mine. She drives little economical cars, and lives not miserly, but frugally.

She is the opposite end of the spectrum.

Oddly enough she uses that millionaires dating site.

I don't see her very often, so I have no idea if it is any use. Before you ask.

I think I'd like it to live in such a big house, not alone of course.

I'm just a person who needs a lot of space. When we lived in a small 2 rooms flat (just 40 m2) I felt like there was no air at all. Now we live in the one that's 4 times bigger and it's perfect as for me, though there are people who are afraid of such a huge places.

My sister for example refuses to stay here for a night alone, when we're leaving somewhere, she says she's afraid of so many rooms. We only have 4, but that's too much for her.

Anyway if some of you girls actually buy this house or some house like this I'll be glad to have your invitation and visit you there))) I even have 2 broad-brim (pink and blue), so I'd look perfect on a terrace drinking a cocktail)))

My SO's brother was astounded at our house, as it had 2 toilets. You have a good point there, Mary, hats would have to be a minimum requirement.

And I really can't imagine myself in such a house not wearing a broad-brim)

And we would work in shifts.
We would feed and shelter them, all of them, and show them out kind of love and caring.
They would feel so safe with us they would never want to leave.

I would kiss the young ones hair, their ears, necks and lips.
We would help them care for themselves and each other.
Respect would be common place, and words of hate would never be spoken.

For the first time they may see what real love, really is.

Love the people, f**k the house.

(I so wish Heather would allow us to properly use the F word
in an appropriate way).
