Yes, it's definitely unfortunate, but at the same time, I think I want to thank those "gentlemen" for making this all possible. I was so fed up with admins doing nothing for months on end, and I just had to take action after I learned about the banning limitations for moderators over there. Very frustrating!

I think I am leaning toward us growing this one instead, but it may take a while for us to get new members outside of ourselves. I did add it to google and bing searches, though, so that should help.

lol true. I also did not like some of the descriptions for the boards.. especially the technology one LOL made me roll my eyes. This one is made and run by women now :-) And we can change the colors and background, and do whatever we want!!!!!! =p

I agree. I know some of us were talking about some cool things to add or change....those were ignored. And I know a few of you offered to be mods to help out, and asked for banning privileges to keep out those jerks but were ignored. And thanks for emailing me about it Cherry!

I do like that this forum is now RUN by women as well. When I found out the old WoF was run by a man I was confused. I mean, what is your motivation to keep a forum running when you yourself is excluded? Not to mention the weird undertones that a MAN still needs to assist a WOMAN... I mean, it is obviously not the case, but sometimes I thought that was a little weird.

I'm sad about what happened to the WoF but I'm not surprised.

A lot of men don't realize that women are still oppressed and looked down upon in many areas of society. As a result, a women only forum needs to have extra protection against spam attacks like the one we just had. Something tells me that that one forum (I can't remember the name, but it was that guys only forum that we were talking about a few months ago) doesn't get the same level of attacks.

I gave you a thumbs up for that, but it seems insufficient.

I added a new theme without a background. It should just be white. It will be "Purple Theme - No Background".

Go to your Profile, click on Edit Profile, then Settings. It will be found under Forum Themes.


Members cannot edit themes, so I have to add new ones based on requests.
