"There is no such thing as a "male brain" or a "female brain," new research finds.
Instead, men and women's brains are an unpredictable mishmash of malelike and femalelike features, the study concludes. Even in brain regions previously thought to show differences based on sex, variability is more common than consistency."

I read the article. I never thought of a "male brain" being different than a "female brain". I always believed that it was the same brain, but in different bodies. But, what about the "Bi-brain"? I suppose that is due to cultural influences. In any event, having a brain is better than not having one.
It's definitely more about the hormonal differences that impact our brains differently, and that sure does make it seem like we have different brains, huh? lol
I always felt almost "genderless"... I still identify as a woman/female, but I just didn't fit into the stereotypes that people use to differentiate between the genders.
Internationally woman suffer more discrimination than men.
Yes female favoritism exists in advanced societies, but is often relegated to sexual preferences, teaching, nursing, deciding what's for dinner, and house cleaning.
Meanwhile Mr.Testosterone gets to make the babies and leave all the hard work of raising them to us, get cool jobs, get paid more, play cooler sports, flirt at will, while we get the second drink free at Ruby Tuesdays on Mothers Day.
Well, this article was just about the brains, not really our society raising us to be a certain way based on our gender =p But I know there are expectations of each gender.. and it's still passed on in each generation. We're getting better, though!
Having lots of married friends and discussing our husbands behaviour that's quite strange sometimes, I can say that most of the time they behave very similar, they use similar phrases, find similar excuses and so on... So I think there is such a thing as men brain or women brain as those things seem strange for us, but are completely normal for them...

Though that is possibly social conditioning, rather then genetics.
A lot of people confuse how we are raised with how our brains actually work if nobody ever told us who to be or how to act. Our brains are very similar, but we are not taught to be the same type of people, and that effects how we think/behave.
There are some differences between us that are biological adaptations, of course. An example would be our ability to see more variations in colors because we were gatherers, and it was needed to be able to safely distinguish differences in berry colors, etc. =p
