I feel that on behalf of the United Kingdom, i need to apologise for the wrong use of Halloween, another tradition us UK guys have copied and ruined. i mean since when was a pretty pink glittery princess halloween-ish, and i don't mean a young child, noo i mean a 22 year old woman!
in fact scrolling down Facebook i saw more slutty adults than scary kids, i probably saw 4 or 5 kids in Halloween costumes and 3x more adults, then i wonder. what did the kids do on Halloween whilst their parents were having a piss up in slutty outfits?
i saw one person say 'but my kids are scared of halloween' okay thats fine, so why are you dressed up as a slutty zombie for a house party if your kids are 'scared'.. or here's a idea if the KIDS don't like Halloween, don't celebrate it, if you aint gona do it properly, dont celebrate it. i bet most of the UK population couldn't even tell you what Halloween is about!
now im not against adults celebrating Halloween by getting dressed up as whatever they want, and getting pissed up, but please, dont leave your children at home bored (not trick or treating) whilst you do so.
so yes, im sorry the UK has made halloween a fancy dress party rather than what it is supposed to be.
