So what are you all doing to celebrate it?

We are meeting a few friends for a meal before hitting the nightclubs over in Manchester.

The best I can do, will be a red leopard print dress with a pair of red horns.

I should do better I know, but at my age I could look ridiculous, and we all know I am too shallow to let that happen.

Did someone just say "Mutton dressed as Spam?"

You know, I think I could pull that off.

Aside from maybe eating some candy! My boyfriend's mom still makes goody bags because she makes them for his nephew and ends up just making it for everyone else, too.

For a pity we don't celebrate Halloween in Ukraine the way you do. Of course there are few people wearing costumes, but mostly going to some night clubs. No one comes and asks for candies. I always wanted to be a part of such a holiday.

Although we had a celebration every October 31, as it's my aunt's birthday) Unfortunately this year we won't do even that as we are too far away from each other.

We went out for the night, a meal and a night club, there were some great costumes. Some people had put a lot of thought and effort in.

Yesterday, little TrickOrTreating girl, looking like a witch came to our flat asking for some candies! That was for the first time in our life and it was great! So dreams do come true!

P.S.: I was really glad I had some candies as we usually don't eat any and we weren't expecting anyone to give them as a treat)

The last two years we were out of town. This time we went to Starbucks to have their Halloween themed Frappuchino (I didn't really know what that was, but the flavors sounded good). It's a white chocolate, mocha, and raspberry drink... no caffeine. It was really yummy. Not a big fan of Starbucks, but I'd have that drink again.

Then we went grocery shopping... and then we picked up some takeout from PF Changs and drank some green tea infused wine... and the wine had some peach flavor in it. So it tasted like a peach tea with no sugar. It was pretty good.

We ate no candy! But we did eat an ice cream bar lol

Mine is less creditworthy.

When I was growing up, we only had the telly. So you often camped in front of it waiting for the prog you wanted to watch. The stuff that was on before, obviously wasn't my choice, but as I was there I watched it anyway.

That is where my little knowledge of lots comes from I reckon.

I'm almoust a little jelous. I really like costumes and dressing up. So I'm sure if we'd celebrate Halloween here it'd be my favorite holiday! We sometimes had costumes party on some theme on different holiday, like birthdays or New Year, but we don't have much friends here yet, so no opportunities for a costume party...
