The first I ever bought for myself.. or the first I ever owned that was bought for me? Either way.. I'm not sure 100%.

I think one of the first CD's ever bought for me might have been... NSYNC? I'm guessing it was their first album... and I also got a Christmas CD of theirs lol

Then I think I got a Good Charlotte CD after that... their first CD.

The first one I picked out in a store... hmmm.. it might have been Bowling For Soup (Drunk Enough to Dance)....??

Most of my CDs were bought for me as a present when I asked my mom for them =p

My first was a Quebec group called Beau Dommage - Ou est passé la noce - a beautiful album that I think is still iconic for french Canadians of my generation. Next was Pete Seeger At the Bitter End, then I think Carole King's Tapestry.

Beautiful song. Quality music transcends language. When I go to my pub on Fridays I always play a few songs from the Mexican bands that I like. The people there get into it.

I know some Spanish and some German, but not French! Celina, perhaps you could give me a word once in awhile.
