do you go to 5 stores to do a full shop just to make sure you get bargains? do you go to another store just because something is 20p cheaper (sorry to my american friends for using GBP lol) do you buy something you dont need, because there is a special offer on, and if so do you buy more than you need, just because of the offer.. etc..
tell me your bargain habits

I go to about 3 stores max in a day, and it's not really for bargains, it's more for items I need that are not carried everywhere. Typically I just go to one for convenience! But if I want to buy a bunch of items, and I know where I can get them cheaper, then I go to the place where I can get them cheaper... if I'm just buying one thing real quick, I'll go to the store that isn't cheaper because it's closer.
Sometimes I will buy things on sale, but only if it's food. You always need food, and why not?
I have more of a budget habit than a bargain habit. I know how much to spend on food a month, and that's it. I don't buy anything but food really.... I don't need anything else lol

I have a "Dollar Store" close by that has alot of inexpensive food. I also go to "Goodwill" now and again for my jeans and stuff - they are almost like new, but so cheap!
That is actually a non uk question, our country is so small it is not really an option. Very few people here take internal flights. Why did you not add trains as a third option?
Coz that would be the uk option, if we are travelling, our choice is usually, coach or train.
i think i am quite a bargain hunter, i have quite a few stores near me and the prices are all competetive with each other, in my local-est, there is a 'reduced to clear' isle, thats my fave! its not reduced to clear because its running out of sell/use by date, just because the new orders have come in and this is whats left, i dont really like looking on the 'almost out of use by date' trolly, but if something catches my eye i will buy it, i buy sweets and chocolate more so if its on offer, i actually never pay full price for a share bag of m&ms but if im doing a food shop i dont go out of my way much, although my dad hates some of my habits.. i dont buy free range, because its more expensive and it all tastes the same, IMO.. he hates that, and if i go to one store on my way home, i will need to go to the other store for something because its 30p cheaper there haha

i think coupons are more of a US thing right? i get milk tokens for M, i use them to buy milk, fruit and veg, which is good, saves a few bob, not much like because fruit and veg isnt priced as little as the milk tokens but, as Tesco would say 'every little helps' haha i did used to have that 'wowcher' but i never used it.
im quite cheap in that i do buy stores own brand food rather than a branded one, but sometimes you just cant do it, if i have a curry, it has to be a good old pataks sauce, but beans i prefer tescos own, if we have spag bol, chili con carne or pasta i always use branded things, but i get the second cheapest mince (never the cheapest as OH is fussy with grisstle, so get the one up from that) and if we have a sunday dinner we get nice cuts of meat, i think we just like to save a little here and there, aswel as having good things in between, the only problem with cheaper, its often crapper, full of salt, sugar, additives, all that garbage, i try (i say TRY) give M good food, although it doesnt always happen

A lot of good practice there, I think.
You may have to add "a few bob" to your ukisms thread though.
