Jen I live in Queensland a place called Bribie Island & yes it is and Island, quite a big one at that with a bridge from the Mainland & we LOVE IT.
I have friends from Melbourne & Sydney.
The Rocks I know of but never been a lover of Sydney it is too busy for me, Sydney is about a 16 hour drive from where we live.
As for Tasmania Val, YES, you must go, it is the most beautiful place, we loved it when we had a 2 week holiday there & wished we had had more time.
Ask any questions you like if I can answer them I will

Actually I am on my way to Brisbane airport to pick up our 15 year old grandson 'Joshua' Joshy to us today, he is very close to us & he is coming to spend a week with his pop as it will be the last time he see's him

Jen, I live about 45 minutes from Brisbane but because the traffic will be heavy thismorning with workers travelling to work I am leaving home at 6am so at it is already 5.15am I had best be off & shower & get ready.Ask anything you like if I can answer I will
