In the last two months, all I read was work material, I suspect it would continue to be that way for a while.
I only got to finish reading my book yesterday because I deliberately made time for myself. I gave myself four hours to read. If you want to do the same, I'd schedule a half day: turn off your phone, turn off your TV and just read.
I don't do this all the time BUT sometimes it is good to do so.

4 hours a day dedicated to ready sounds like a luxury to me. I get out of the house at 7:30 and get home at 6:30, get dinner ready, eat, shower, answer emails, watch the news for an hour then off to bed. I am writing this in bed.

It does sound like you have absolutely no time to read a book. It is a shame, really.

Even 10-15 minutes at a time could work. That's what I did when the babes were young and nursing. Desperate for a reading fix, LOL! Now I leave 30 - 45 minutes at night and sometimes fall asleep reading. I don't mind! I also read at mealtimes!
I finished The Sweet Life by Suzanne Woods Fisher recently. So good!
Currently re-reading Sea Glass Cottage by Irene Hannon. Have to finish Truly, Madly, Sheeply by Heather Vogel Frederick - good so far - and then also Somewhere to Belong, a Star Trek Discovery novel.

I read the first library book in one sitting: it was called "Queen Charlotte" and is a historical/fictional novel. The writers took liberties with facts and timelines but it was necessary for the book. The poor king George is as mad as a hatter but they stay together and she doesn't stray. Queen Charlotte is a loyal character.
Anyhow, well written although I'd say you'd have to be 15+ to read it.
I thoroughly enjoyed the story and give it 10/10. But it is for adults: so don't give it to your kids for a history lesson.

I'm trying the first in a new series (Sky King Ranch) by Susan May Warren. Interesting opening chapters so far! My mum recommended the book.
Slowly going through Jane & Me, which could have used a co-writer or more editing. Still, there are interesting facts about Jane Austen and her family here and there.

That is a book I have to read. I'll see if it is stocked in my local library.

Upcoming, thanks to Buy a Book Day: Harm's Way by David Mack (on sale!) and The Book of Grudge (Star Trek Discovery). Eventually, I'll also get to reading the annotated edition of Northanger Abbey that will soon be on the bookshelf. (Almost done collecting the Belknap Press set!)

I finished reading "Women Of War" by Lizzie Lane today.
It was an extremely well written novel. It has historical fact to it, as well. A lot of it is fiction but it is still a war novel. Once I got reading it, I kept reading it: it kept me hooked. If you're interested in world war novels and feminism, you should give this book a read. BUT there is graphic violence in it. It contains other adult content, so you might be best not giving it to a teenager to read.

I moved Children of Hurin (Tolkien) from the bookshelf to my spot for books I'm currently reading or mean to start. I've started the David Mack Star Trek book, but fantasy might be good if I need a different story. The oldest also has other Tolkien I haven't yet read.

I finished reading my library book this afternoon: it was well written and a book I'd read again if I were short of reading material. There was bloody violence in it but the way this was portrayed was very well executed and wasn't too graphic. It was a story with a happy ending.
It was set in the late 1800's in Mexico and is pure science fiction. But it was written in the style of a classic novel, which contrasted well.
I've gone back to Just Jane (a biographical novel about Jane Austen), and I'm about a quarter of the way through Pride and Prejudice. It was past time to read Jane again.
I'm about 3/4 of the way through The Princess Bride as well. The writing style and the idea of abridging a non-existent book is great, but the movie screenplay wins so far as the author's best version of the dialogue, and the story itself.
