Those of you who use pads during your period, do you find fissures on your labia afterwards?
Do you have any remedies to treat it afterwards or maybe preventing?

I don't remember how long I've been getting them. No change to my pads and cleansing or clothes. I get the fissure in the one same spot on the inner labia, but now today a week later I noticed one on the outer labia..... May I wipe too hard sometimes and that could be a factor.

All I can find in my google searches are results for infections or whatever, but mine are just a result from the time I'm on my period.

Maybe wipe a bit more gently, and see if that helps.

Are you being 'over hygeinic" and using cleaning products in there? If so you could be killing off your helpful bacteria.

There is a balance to be kept. But I would certainly change your supplier, that manufacturer could be disagreeing with you.

No I'm not over cleaning. Not using anything new. Just the same fissure in the same spot after being on my period. More irritated recently than in the past and a new spot appeared yesterday but I didn't think I was wiping too hard. I use always wet wipes to cleanse everyday and that's never been an issue. No over all issues in the region. Just the one same spot.

Hm, not sure what exactly would be causing it, especially if you are ruling things out. Maybe you need to go to a gynecologist, see if there is anything they recommend for applying down there during or after that time of the month. Maybe it is a mild allergy, or maybe it's just your skin not being able to breathe well enough; hard to say!

I find cloth pads to be much more "breathable".

Skin not breathing well sounds like a good possibility, plus it might rub wrong with the way I sit and whatever during the day.
