I just ordered a floor chair for the living room. I could buy a saucer chair with ottoman one of these days, but being at floor level with back support is also a good option, so a legless chair wins out this time!

I had more colour options from Amazon Canada, so I chose the walnut with grey cushion.
If I don't adjust well to that, there are floor rockers/gamer chairs that look super comfy! I know the kids would want to claim such a great chair all the time, though, and I'm actually hoping for a dedicated "Mum chair."

I never knew such a thing existed, is it something you have tried before?

No, but we do use floor cushions that are similar to the tatami cushions I saw when browsing for the chair... So sitting on the floor is already a thing in this house!

I noticed a discount on an item I've been waiting for, so I snapped it up today! (As close as you can snap something up online, that is. Saying "I ordered it" isn't as fun...) It's a wireless keyboard meant to look like a typewriter, and where a typewriter would have paper coming out, this has a groove for placing your tablet or phone. So cute, and potentially very practical since I like a physical keyboard and regularly moan about how a touch keyboard isn't right for me!
My oldest reminded me that I have an actual typewriter upstairs, plus the wired keyboard with typewriter keys (which I forget to use most of the year). So I told him about a scene in "You've Got Mail" where a man has identical electric typewriters. I didn't actually say, "So what?" but I was thinking it... The more typewriter-like items, the better!
I'm also getting drinking glasses with the Star Trek delta on them. (Nerd face here! I already have a couple Trek mugs in use, and one souvenir packed away for now.)

It's just about time to stop putting off purchases, since we're getting a nice chunk o' money next week. I've ordered the Life of Fred math books (of which we already had 3) and a few Trek related books as well. Oh, and a Fisher Price Trek set (for me, not the kids! LOL).
Next up: Some clothing that will hopefully last me a good long time, and maybe also new laundry machines so we can retire ours before they completely break...

Oops, I already selected my new laundry machines. And arranged for delivery in September... I even found out they now offer installation (which you pay for, of course). That wasn't offered the last time I bought from the same place, so I'm pleasantly surprised!
