Last night, on a whim, I put in an order for some carnivorous plants. I meant to this spring to add to those I got fairly late last year and decided that now was the time.The ones I have are just coming out of their dormant time. They seem to have mostly survived but the next week or two will see.

I didnt buy it... I just gave my daughter and son in law a lift and the nod.

They bought a car. He just got his licence and of course he wants a car but everyone has an opinion about whats best. DD and SIL said its giving them a headache,so they found a car that sounded decent and at a price they could afford and took me to see it.
They struck a deal and pick it up tomorrow...

I get that occasionally. It's irritating but most things are refunded without problem.

I got my weekly shop yesterday and also ordered some herbs and spices online. There were getting a few things on the list so I decided the time was right. I didn't get over extravegant though. I have a few packets unopened from my last large order around a year ago.

I hope they have better luck than me. My first car had a dodgy gearbox. It broke within a month. A year later I sold it for a less than a third of what I had paid for it, as the rust had taken hold underneath. I think I learned a lot from that.

First was never take my prospective fil as an expert.

6 chicken and mushroom pies - £1.30 each
2 lightly dusted lemon soles - £1.20
6 boxes of honey nut clusters - £0.65 each
1 box of honey nut clusters with chocolate 0.65

That's my freezer almost full again after me clearing it out.

I bought a few groceries on my midweek shop yesterday, less than usual. I received my orders of herbs and spices and carniverous plants, which I had the joy of unpacking yesterday. The cardboard / paper recycle bin has now had a good feed
