Oh, just taking a break today.  lol...

I just ordered a new clock . We had one that tells the day and date as well as the time ( its helps OH keep track) . But the date part broke recently I found a nice one today with 30% discount...

I almost bought a pair of shoes yesterday, but we couldn't agree on a price, and neither of us are going to budge.

I don't need to buy anything.

I'm going to see what I can find with the post Christmas sales going on around here.

I also tried on an LBD. It was not how I want to look. Oh, and a pair of gold strappy heels, they were ok, but ok is not enough to loosen the purse strings.

I must say I was very impressed at how much better I got the tyres off my bicycle with proper levers. Spoons just don't cut it really. 

I found a couple of Boxing Day sale items already popping up on Amazon on the 24th, so I'm getting a sandwich maker (not very expensive, but just as I remember having growing up) and a reading lamp for my bedroom. I also tossed in a string of 200 LED lights for my parents' Christmas tree while the price is decent. Hopefully Dad won't be too stubborn to use them - he needed four sets when we were decorating this time, because the first two didn't work properly!

I'm still trying to decide when to buy my own sets of Christmas lights to get just the right amount for decorating the interior of our house "my way"... (The middle guy thinks it's too much lights right now with new and old sets being used. I think that's akin to saying "bah humbug," hee hee.) And I almost always have clothes waiting in my Amazon cart for when it's a good time to buy for me, so I might start on that soon - I think it may slow down, though, if I buy patterned shirts because all of my solid-colour shirts seem to get grease/food stains so easily! (Either different material for patterned that washes out best, or the "flaws" don't show on the patterned ones?)

I didn't get any gift cards from family and friends yet, but if I do, it wouldn't be hard to spend online if I can get books or videos - I have long lists of titles I'd like, and I generally wait for extra spending money or a discount rather than buying immediately on release...

More cat food. They are eating me out of house and home...

I saw my daughter's new cat for the first time today. She is a real beauty.

I love kitties. I am sure she is. 

I will probably go down the wedges route, just make sure the soles are more plasticky than rubbery.
